I personally loved how they dealt with Sunjae's road to rediscovering Sol in ep 14-16. The gradual process was just so heart touching and quite subtle too in a way.
Also Sol's gradual change in emotions from being optimistic and bubbly in ep 1 (despite her paralysis/ all other obstacles she had to face in the og timeline as well as right after going back to 2008) to masking her depression and desperatation behind a smile throughout the last timeline until she finally broke down after Sunjae was back for good was just *chef's kiss* IMO💛💙

I guess the main reason why netflix is getting the spotlight is mostly because their regret over not signing up for the original stream was quite obvious when the show was airing
(For instance they kept sharing promo reels of BWS's other work available on metflix with captions like "we discovered him first" or something similar + they started to promote KHY's dramas as well on the app 🙊)

The killer- no backstory is required since he is a run in the mill psycho (also they explained it very briefly in ep 16/ the actor who portrays the taxi driver pretty much said the same)
Also the fact that the driver didn't even know about Sol in the last timeline proves that it was never about Sol- she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The driver was always Sunjae's fate since SJ was always meant to be an obstacle even if it was by accident 🙊

About her gaping and being in shock each time there's a load of affection from Sunjae (or anybody else), IMO it might be due to the fact that may be she isn't used to it in her original timeline?
It's implied, after Sunjae "saved" her, her whole life was devoted to him and the band (even her mum jokes about it when she helps her get the watch from the granny the first time). Prior to the accident also it's likely she never had a boyfriend either so even if she is 34, it's still new to her. Specially when all the affection is coming from her 15 years old stan-ship (or whatever you call it).
Would that make more sense?🙊
Note: i'm not saying that disabled people are unable to have relationships, it's just that with SOL it was implied that her life revolved mostly around Sunjae the idol and there wasn't room for anybody else.

Sol says that it's her last time because each watch has 3 turns (the dial on the watch starts at 3:00 during her first time, and counts back by 1 each time she comes back to 2022). Sunjae's second watch in ep 13 was kind of like a surprise twist (but makes sense since the watch activated the first time also after he died)🙊
True there were alot of deleted scenes. Did you see the ones TVN released? Think there were about 5 scenes accessible. They were sooo cute too but i guess they ran out of timespace allocated.🙊

Yes, the only reason she got paralysed was because of the driver (he intentionally ran over her). Since Sol was only a random target, once Sol avoided the taxi driver and the situation, she was able to "save" her legs (it's emphasised in the last timeline specially that the driver didn't even know about her existence). So it was never an inevitable fate for her to get paralysed (unlike Sunjae's shoulder injury even after she warned him to be careful)
Since her paralysis isn't a major factor in the storyline, "lovely runner" still works (also Sol did "run" alot throughout the series :)
Number of times she went back in time : technically 3 if we extend the fourth time she went back to Spring 2008 with Sunjae's other watch (it was travelling back in time within another timeslip kind of thing). But you can count it as 4 too.

You were clear :) The drama uses a lot of subtext so we have to focus on the drama or we can miss certain easter eggs (i noticed that i personally missed quite abit when i watched some of the episodes again/ saw the discussions here).
In my opinion, Sol ended up getting blindsided in ep 9 which was the main reason she started to get quite hysterical (understandably) since upto ep 8, she really truly believed Sunjae unalived himself due to depression- all facts from the previous timelines pointed to it. To find out that the reason why he died was indirectly because he saved her, messed with her completely. Specially to find out that it was premeditated murder/ the driver has been planning for years to have his revenge on Sunjae.
As viewers we know by ep 16, it really isn't because of Sol- it was SJ's fate to always be an obstacle against the driver, but in Sol's trauma fueled mind, it must have really hurt her alot (specially given the fact that if she didn't get the chance to time travel, original timeline's SJ life would seem even more heartbreaking because along with his depression/ guilt over Sol's accident/ anxiety and so on, he was murdered because he helped the cops catch the driver).
I agree that Sol's whole emotional tug a war with 2009 Sunjae could have been handled differently i guess- specially everything that happened in the seaside. But then again, Sunjae is also very stubbon. It's highly unlikely he would let Sol use herself as bait to catch the driver. Both POV's have good intensions, but they could have communicated it better between themselves.
Pushing Sunjae away in 2008 honestly makes sense in a way since Sol didn't know that Sunjae already liked original "sol". To her, she was messing with Sunjae's future too much, specially since as a stan, she knows how precious his "first love" story is to him🙊

Guess the writer was more focussed on showing Sol's desperation- how she had to be extremely cruel at times to force Sunjae to leave her alone/ listen to her. She knew her behaviour was really rude (she secretly apologizes to him behind his back). She does later apologize to him.
To us, she was harsh, but honestly i can't imagine how I'd behave if i were in her shoes- after witnessing a loved one die over and over again because of me (in Sol's opinion)🙊

Even in the drama, literally the only person who didn't like the SML was the ML for obvious reasons but even that was reconciled in both of the main timelines🙃

Guess the success of the drama just caught most of the viewers by surprise at the time it was airing. Specially since everybody expected it to be a simple idol+fan plot but it was so much more.
At least that's what happened to me. I started watching it simply because i usually watch k- dramas slotted at that time every week. Wasn't even looking forward to it even since while i liked the leads, I was pretty much done with time travel by then.
But the show really took me by surprise- pretty much reeled me in hook,liner, and sinker after the 2nd episode's twist at the end.
It also doesn't help that since LR ended, there hasn't been many equally or more interesting romcom dramas (i mean there are, but they aren't as entertaining as LR to me at least)
So some of the fans (including myself) are still stuck in the LR bubble 🙈🙃

The hype while deserved for the most part, should be taken with a grain of salt, specially with viewers who normally don't like this genre.
