I initially liked the show, but itβs getting insanely repetitive. Every episode is the exact same. I love you…
It's a timetravel drama with multiple chances. Repetition is inevitable since the whole point is going through the same motions until you get it right π
It doesn't help either that both the ML and FL are stubbon and have this insatiable need to protect the other even at their own expense π
I shouldn't go read the reviews because now I'm a bit upset. some of their points valid but.... anyway this drama…
Ikr? Some people are expecting time travel dramas to be like documentaries.
And god fobid they'd get repetitive - it's like the whole point of timetravel dramas with multiple chances doesn't mean that you have to go through the same motions over and over again till you get it right π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ
I hate to say it but I have a feeling something bad is going to happen in Ep13 and young!Sol is going to pull…
Given how the story has been going on so far i don't think young Sol and San Jae will have their own story. He might watch over her in the sidelines (or lose contact) but he probably won't "interact" with herπ
It's totally worth watching! The vibe is similar but the focus of the story is different.
That's so true!
Also I feel BWS's previous fans really need this to move past the past trauma he inflicted on us by actually making it this time π (At least in my case- i got to know him in 20th century girl and ever since then, he either always dies or loses his partner- i need a break from it πππ)

I think the reason why the comments is so high in LR is mostly because how obsessed we are ππππ
We just can't keep quiet about itπππ The cast helps too - i think it's mostly because of how beautifully KHY and BWS portrays Sol's and SJ's unwavering love without making it too unbarably cringey like in some dramas.
(The rest of the cast is great too. I particularly love the recent humourouse activity the taxi driver does in IG - he's always replying to KHY's LR related posts with hilarious creepy comments)

Haha ikr?!
It's rediculous honestly why anyone would even want to pit the 2 dramas against eachother. They are both brilliant in their own way. If you don't like one - move on π€·ββοΈ
I watch it and it's overrated. It's a 7-8 at best and that's if they manage to not ruin the ending. The 'serial…
Removing the SML wil cause plot holes actually. For example:
1. If he is removed, the FL will not know that you can change events. After the FL couldn't save the ML's swimming career, she was depressed because she thought that she couldn't change the past. But because the SML helped her to stop the house fire, she was given confidence to move forward with her plan. Nobody else would have believed her if she told about a potential fire/ have the means to reach her house on time.
2. Without the SML, the FL wouldn't have found out about her mum's hospitalization.
3. Without the SML, the ML wouldn't have known the killer's name or get suspicious enough to secretly find out when the next attack might happen (and prepare for it).
4. While it isn't outright mentioned, one of the initial reasons why the ML first helped the band was because he was trying to be "cool" like the SML so that the FL would like him

If you don't think LR deserves 9.1 that's fine because it is your personal preference.βΊοΈ

Yes, don't miss it.βΊοΈ
TW also has romance. One of the sweetest YA romances i've seen recently in fact with the second couple (I won't say who they are but they are pivotal to the story and the ML)

It's like comparaing Apples and Oranges tbh π€«
TW focuses on family bonds and friendship more than romance (there is but it's not the main theme) compared to LR. So you can't really compare it- it depends on your preference.
I personally loved both of them. I wasn't as obsessed about TW as LR though. Eitherway, both shows made me look forward to Mondays.
I'd say the special thing about TW that stands out is how they portrayed disability - the struggles, discrimination, and how to overcome hurdles (no hate to LR since that is not the point of LR's story)

The SML's role isn't really the role of a traditional SML though in LR.
Yes, he started of as a typlical love rival and they did use time travel to change his fate from being a mediocre delinquent to somebody successful.
We haven't still been informed what his role in 2023 is so it's difficult to judge him at this point completely, but so far he has been pivotal in supporting the team. Thanks to him, the FL has a better idea on what's going on with the case (since the SML's dad is in charge of the case). ΒΉ As of ep 12, the ML too has a better idea on what to expect thanks to the SML. Finally, it was partially thanks to the SML they were able to save Eclipse in the second 2009 timelin.
"Tell me that you love me" is definitely underrated but that was again mostly because of a poor marketing choice and not because the cast is older. The ML in it is extremely famous too and I believe the FL is quite famous too if i remember correctly.
But LR's initial marketing was also a disaster. You are right to say that one of the main reasons LR got popular was because of the actors because it is a fact. The story isn't everybody's cup of tea i guess and that's fine. But we can't completely judge it until it's over π

(Sadly too broke/ not a diver to justify getting a G-shock so had to timetravel out of there before things escalated π)
