I also want White to stay alive. He as nothing to do with all this.
Idk about Tan tbh. Think more than hoping Tan get's out of this alive, the most important thing is that he should be able to find peace and closure.
Tan definitely didn't deserve what happened to him and his family, but if Non is actually dead, Tan will always be haunted by it all. Not to mention all the consequences he will have to face once the outside world finds out. He is definitely going to go to jail (even if they site temporary insanity, Por's parents are powerful enough to ensure that Tan will be punished to the maximum possible - hell they might even have a contract killer set after Tan seeing as their only son was murdered because of Tan's actions). Tan will also be haunted by his father's final words.
I think non is with the syndicate group being punishedβ¦thatβs a high possibility and if not yeah he is deadβ¦…
Agreed - there's a chance that Non is alive. We also don't really know why Jin keeps seeing only Mr K but not the Mask or Non (in fact Jin even got the teacher's shirt colour from the time he got kidnapped right in the hallucination). Jin's also pretty adamant that Non didn't die.
So there is a chanxe Jin knows something about what happened to Non.
I agree that none of these 'ships' should sail, as it were. Bunch of ick and unhealthy relationships and messed…
Regarding the grooming - Considering the fact that the show is about Just deserts and Revenge, it's possible they intentionally brushed off the topic for now.
We still do not know why Jin only hallucinates Mr K (specially in the shirt he was kidnapped in) and yet he doesn't hallucinate about the mask/ Non. Since J was also the one who had a complete breakdown after seeing Mr K and Non together, it's possible there's more to it than we have been told so far
I swear it's implied that Phee knows it was Jin who posted the video - when Phee goes to confront Non at the tutoring…
Seeing as technically we now know everybody has dirty laundry except for White and even Jin's character is still too ambiguous, it's gonna get even more intense this weekend with the revelations πππ
I imagined something similar. I feel like Tan is already going off their initial plan and thatβs why Phee said…
Urgh tell me about it! As much as I love PheeJin, the way the story has been going so far, it's hard to imagine a happy ending at this point πππ
Unless Jin turns out to be secretly helping Non in a different way- basically everything lies on Jin at the moment. The writers are being sneaky by keepinh Jin's character so vague
Same for me! Literally loved the drama including all the little changes it made. They made it seem more real and…
Exactly!!! I love how they tied up everything together without losing momentum and they even managed to touch all bases. Su Min's faith was just perfect πΌ
I can't believe I'm actually saying this but MMH's drama adoptation managed to surpass the webtoon - particularly the revenge felt more satisfactory (and this is coming from somebody who absolutely loved the webtoon first)π
I swear it's implied that Phee knows it was Jin who posted the video - when Phee goes to confront Non at the tutoring…
Yes- it's so strange that Jin doesn't hallucinate about the mask or non. And if you notice, in Jin's hallucinations, Mr K is wearing the same shirt he was kidnapped in. I feel like there might be something Jin knows about Non's disappearance that hasn't been revealed yet seeing as he doesn't seem to fear "Non".
I imagined something similar. I feel like Tan is already going off their initial plan and thatβs why Phee said…
Considering how Phee is currently the only one who isn't really traumatized by the events, this would certainly kill him. π I mean imagine if his last words with both his love interests was basically asking them to D!e and they actually D!e.
I agree, and also, did Phee ever explicitly tell Tan about his fight with Non before Non disappeared? I feel like…
PheeNon's breakup is technically only implied I guess since some viewers may choose to interpret " Go and D!e" and the blocking as Phee just letting off steam - especially since Phee did look for Non eventually after he unblocked him.
But yeah, PheeNon is in the past at this point. Both Non and Phee are completely different people now. Non's state of mind cannot even be contemplated if he is still alive and Phee did move on. If they do reconcile, there's going to be a long road of therapy ahead of them.
I love PheeJin since they really seem to spark both in the present/ past and they apparently have more in common (no idea if it is fake though). Will they actually make it though is another question since both of them have lied to eachother and we still do not know for certain if Jin is as innocent as he seems (except for the video and lying to the cops of course).
Yesss! I am so torn about Jin's character. He has this Dobler vs Dharmer kind of thing going on for him (if you…
Considering the fact that everybody is messed up, White might have a secret too.
Since White is supposed to be tech savvy and we know that Mr K's team had Tee on their radar, W's mission might be related to Tee and not Non directly since Non and Mr K disappeared together π
Given how majority of the fanbase is out for Mr K's blood for grooming Non, you'd think the writers would have used Tan to finish off Mr K - killing off Mr K via the uncle is a waste of plot space in comparison.
Besides, killing Tee isn't really the right kind of revenge. Tee has to feel the psychological torture he inflicted on Non by pretending to help him and forcing him into this whole mess. It was also Tee's idea to pin the broken camera on Non. Since Tee clearly loves White, it would kill him to know that W was against him all along.
I just rewatched episode 1 and then watched episodes 2 and 3 and it makes sense now. Why Tan always looked so…
If White is also upto something, he's most likely working with another party. In the early episodes, when Phee, Tan, and White were alone, Tan made this theatric declaration that he is going to pretend to help Tee and the gang to find out more information? If White was in it, then he would have reacted differently.

The Janta cult might be a red herring here to delude the viewers. Even Por kept messing up the details of the story. It's possible that there was an actual cult back in the day based in the forest. Since the lore was included in the script (Por did do the reviewing), Tan may have taken advantage of it to make his plan more authentic.
If we assume the other attacker is also working with Tan, he could have set up the traps. Since Non's last known location was the forest, I'm pretty sure Tan must have gone through it countless times.
It's hard to explain the handsy ghost (poor Tee π ) but it's possible this was also the real attacker perhaps but W and T were so into it, they didn't really notice? Unless of course White has a tendancy to be extra during their makeout sessions and Tee was worried about it- ending up with a confused hallucination of the mask feeling him upπ π€£π (Tee kept reminding White that W promised that he would "behave" throughout ep 1). Most likely though, it's probably a poor choice of script writing to make the scene funny

Thats a lot of valid points.
I feel like there is somebody else who is hunting them down since Tan and Phee both have alibis when Por got attacked as well as during the Shrine scene (the attacker was too stable to be Top during the attack). The knife marks on Por are proof that the attack was real.
It's difficult to say though if the other attacker is in cahoots with Tan but seeing as Phee isn't really in it for revenge but justice & is bias about Jin, Tan may have found somebody else to help him as a security measure.
The reason why the gang (except for Jin) sees the Mask makes sense tbh since Phee did talk about Non when they were drugged (P even declared that Non must be dead). Knowing how unsettled the gang was, it kind of makes sense that they would hallucinate about the Mask. White was already spooked by por's story so it wouldn't be a surprise if he saw the mask too. This does bring into question, WHY ISN'T JIN SCARED OF THE MASK in his hallucinations? He was nearly killed twice now by the mask but Jin still only sees Mr K which is honestly really odd. Either J knows that Non is alive and well and Mr K is dead or alternatively the meltdown he had with the video situation had to do with Mr K and not Non (wild theory but perhaps Jin has a past with Mr K which is why he was so heart broken).
So far the only person I trust is Phee ngl π I really want Jin to be one of the good guys but something about him is just so creepy at times. Like you said, in the coffin scene and even when Phee starts to confess, J has this "look" like he is secretly enjoying it. The way he immediately snapped as soon as he caught N and K to take the video without any hesitation also has this classic psychopath vibe. Since the show has dealth with Depression and manic disorders already, I wouldn't be that surprised if they give Jin also some kind of psycho alter ego. Since Phee is the resident Mr Fair and Justice, I feel like the "final showdown" will be between Phee and Jin. Tan's goal is avenging his family- he no longer cares about anything else, so unless Non is alive, Tan is destined to sacrifice himself for his mission. Phee still has his idealistic ways (he was concerned about the bullies lives and was even open to give them the benefit of the doubt even about the script change). Since so far only Phee hasn't had any actual trauma thrown at him except for Non's disappearance, the ultimate hit would be Jin betraying him (i'm not referring to the recording either - but something even more sinister).
Tan definitely didn't deserve what happened to him and his family, but if Non is actually dead, Tan will always be haunted by it all.

They might keep either Jin or Phee (or both) alive but at the last 10 seconds hint that there is a stalker or an off screen attackπ π
White definitely is upto something though. Hes too "good".
White being Tee's partner is just the cherry on top (seeing as Tee did threaten Non that if he didnt pay soon he will have to sell his organs))
πππ
