Give Yan a chance- they might have purposely ended the episode at THAT point to entice viewers🙈
Personally I felt that Yan was just trying to be a good CEO by making the investor happy (he did risk a lot for her afterall). Since HM is an expert at pleasing investors, she could have just assumed that HM wouldn't mind if she thanked Liang first- specially since she did warn him previously that she will have to work closely with Liang.
Guess Yan underestimated HM and his jealousy streak (specially based on ep 26's preview)🙈
Did you see ep 26's preview? A very drunk Yan demanded that she wanted to go home? What are the odds that she will force Lin and the taxi driver to drop her at her actual home? Where she used to live with HM I mean🙈
QQ.......Anyone???I am still starting out and confused...So, ML had a relationship with Fang Lei's sister when…
Fang Lei always had a crush on him- even when the sister was alive. Based on the flashbacks, HM only saw her as a little sister. She didn't even appear in his memories with his ex eventhough she was in the same room in that particular flashback.
I don't think the parents will get another redemption arc. The Shens already accepted her true identity so she no longer has that pressure hanging over her head. At best the parents will be tollerated (like what she's been doing so far).
Episodes 24 and 25 were complete filler. And what was that ending in 25? Did she really do that?? The person who…
The investor did help the brand by not cutting ties despite all the pressure he got. It would have been brand suicide if he left. Even if Haoming helped to salvage it after the investor left, the damage would be irreversible and all of Yan's hardwork would be destroyed. We might get an answer in ep 26 as to why Yan didn't mention HM at the end.🙊
Buildup to and the divorce. I didn’t know if that was a spoiler.
Exactly!!! I feel the same! It's like he's at war with himself. The scene where he's happily preparing for Yan's birthday says it all. He was keeping her at a distance at the time but at the same time he was looking forward to celebrate it with her.🙈
His redemption arc is handled quite well honestly. It can be over the top at times but you can feel his sincereity 🙊 Yan too- she seriously has blossomed into wuite the fighter.
25. As a great supporter of the story, I admit I’m disappointed for the first time. The love/reconciliation…
I feel that in ep 25, they showed XY’s shift in feeling for SHM. While he didn’t use his funds, he still pulled the strings and manipulated the public’s opinion as well as the suppliers. While being grateful for his support, if this happened earlier, she would have called him out. But now Yan is slowly melting. She didn’t even hesitate to accept his ride back to the studio (something she would have totally rejected previously no matter how grateful she was).
There’s personal growth since Yan is now confidant in herself and is willing to accept HM’s resources now without feeling uncomfortable about it.
Seriously wish if we could go back to the 2 epi per day format though 🫠
can someone explain why after the competition in eps 25, during the dinner with the team zhaolusi didnt say thank…
Investors usually get priority-specially in this case, the fact that Liang continued to support them by going against his sister and company is also a big deal. If the public found out that their sole investor cut ties, the brand probably wouldn’t have been able to recover the way they did.
Since SHM is family and he knows the importance of keeping investors happy, perhaps it didn’t occur to Yan that he’d take it the wrong way? Rookie mistake honestly considering how silly SHM has been lately🙈
Buildup to and the divorce. I didn’t know if that was a spoiler.
Personally I'm a sucker for redemption story arcs and I quite like how the couple is written. Him being rediculous makes sense to me since he doesn't have experience nor does he have any friends who could actually give him solid advice.
They both messed up but do not deserve to be hurt forever.
Haoming knew about Yan even before she got to meet him in ep1 afterall- he's always prepared. Did he truly approach her with the intension of taking advantage of her? I don't think so. He seems to enjoy putting people in their place so I feel like in ep 1, he played along with her "Amy" identity with the intension of teaching her a lesson on trying to manipulate people into joining her show but the way she handled the fake interview must have truly impressed him. He finally has met his equal in scheming.
Since he is business minded, it's possible that he did fall for her at the time and at the same time he saw her potential to help him? Two things can be true at the same time (and is realistic-people are more likely to pick a successful partner afterall)🙈
Once he realized that she was a fraud/ "gold digger", he decided to continue with the relationship since even if he didn't have her heart at least she is still useful and secretly downgraded himself from "Lover" to "Personal Investor Husband" instead? Since Yan truly did love him, he didn't really get to see the dark side of being with an actual gold digger so he was fine with the life they had....until the crazy sister destroyed everything.
He sucks for not trying to understand Yan considering how there was tangible proof of her sincereity but at the same time, it's hard to judge without experiencing what he went through😅
At least he's desperate enough now to make a huge fool of himself so that's something🙈
Buildup to and the divorce. I didn’t know if that was a spoiler.
Things begin to get more intense from ep 24 onwards. Based on the previews, looks like this will continue till ep 28 or 29
Ep 14 till around ep 23, you have a combination of emotional moments as well as hilarious moments but nothing too serious since Yan refuses to buckle down despite losing everything she worked for. It's rather impressive to see her fight for herself and conquer obstacles.
Buildup to and the divorce. I didn’t know if that was a spoiler.
He's basically a textbook AH in denial in ep 13-15ish or so but as soon as he finds out she's looking for a divorce lawyer, you can see that he's affected despite his bravado.
Until he truly realizes that she never loved his money and titles, he'll try to win her over with what he believed was true. So not exactly evil...rather he is just ignorant?
Since he's not used to being rejected, he has no idea how to win over Yan. So he comes up with the most rediculous schemes (this is where the audience is divided as some find the comedy refreshing after all the angst whilst others find it awkward and out of character)🙈
His words are harsh but I personally think he doesn't really mean most of the things he says. For instance, in ep 18 or so he made fun of her article about Jam's significance to a home during an arguement, but the fact that he could quote it over a year later suggests that he's lying now and he was sincere when he said in ep 1 that he loved her article on it.
Who is more beautiful?Qiao yan or qiao lin.For me its qiao lin.
It's Xu Yan not Qiao Yan 🤫
Personally I think their beauty shines into different ways. Yan has this classical sophisticated look (even in the latest episodes) whereas Lin has a more youthful glow about her.
Gosh that sucks. When did they use the map in question?🙈
Hopefully they can just either cut that scene or blur the map. It really is a careless move. They could have just zoomed into the map so nothing contraversial can come up.

The drama has too much drama to add this storyline i guess. Besides they were already broken up at that point so there's no motivation.🙈
The person who picked the teaser clip scenes should get a raise🤭

As for those parasites....how shameless can you be to ask such questions infront of someone so young?🤦♀️

Glad they are clearing up misunderstandings.
