wouldnt watch it again even if i was payed to.

wow this show is so so so bad.
let's get into this diabolical show.

(to start off, I watched this ages ago so detail wise... Don't expect me to go full into this shit).

oh toh. oh oh toh. the world's worst character to be written. why do writers orgasm over the idea of these annoying child like, obsessive and creepy characters. then writers think like nobody will mention the absolute ungodly characters if the weirdly obsessed one if the "bottom" ????? i always see the trope of the more fem character being so god damn unbearable, but people bypass it because its... "cute" . HELL NO ???? . his feminine side doesn't hide his FKIN weird behaviour.

when toh first came into my screen i actually had to pause the show, to take breathing exercises because the cringe he was serving was giving me heart issues. it got to the point where i would watch it on 2x speed to just get thru it.
toh is so diabolically down bad that he made me want to become a priest, he got me praying to a god, just for it to STOP.
when i start a show i HAVE to finish it, and this show was so bad it took me close to half a year to fully finish.
I can sit here and write till my fingers fall off with how much I hate toh.

nuea. right listen. He's also weird asf. he defo just keeps toh around for an ego boost, because ain't no way nobody is loving toh for who he is let's be so real right now. Nuea is also unbearable to watch. id actually catch myself trying to laugh thru the cringe just to keep my head above the water. by golly, dont even get me started when nuea and toh are together on my screen, because i swear they had little to no lines and a whole lot of face smashing, it looked like either one of them was trying to floss the others wisdom teeth with there tongue.

this show all together is catered to weird creepy pervs who are into the idea of dating somebody who is obsessed over them (insecure creeps) or people who fantasise dating someone they idolise. id rather watch a back to back marathon of irl jungkook and Y/N wattpad story's portrayed in a play format, played only by Jimmy Fallon and James Corden.

this show was so bad I would need a Shakespeare play kinda description just to be able to express myself.
the side characters relationship wasn't one that was even good, must say it was somewhat better than toh and nuea, but far from good. but i think tohs absolute mouldy dog shit of a character outshines any other bad characters, making everyone's acting and behaviour look impeccable. because GAWDDAMN tohs character was actually so bad it was impressive, and if i couldve give scores under 0, i would've.

there is no story, no plot. unless the plot involved in the whereabouts of everyone's clothing, the plot was nowhere to be seen.
yet again another BL that only gained views from people going feral over men devouring each other for 14 eps.
wouldnt watch again even if my life depended on it.

couldn't praise this show enough.

100% positive review coming up.

this show resonated with me so much. the characters were so likeable and I felt anger, sadness and happiness all with these characters.
the show explores many different factors, from teenage love, teenagers struggles, to world struggles and world tragedies.

i love how the characters are so well written that i couldn't help but feel what they was feeling at the time, and the acting from the cast were impeccable.

na heedo and beak yijin. lets get into it,

1. na heedo, were introduced as this ambitions, independent and headstrong late-teens girl. heedos character is defo not one of the smartest people out there, but this created many laughable moments within the show. we get to grow with her, and see her teenage problems adapt into adult problems. I enjoyed getting to see her character mature but not lose her personality.
2. beak yijin, were introduced to this humble, mature and hard working character that has a really sad backstory, who's trying to rebuild his life. yijins character is nothing but loveable and we get to watch how he grows himself and his career, although he faces a lot of different issues ( one being heedo lol ) we still get to watch him become more financially stable.

the acting from the whole cast was commendable and the story was also amazing, id do anything to be able to watch this for the first time again.

the side characters
1. the side characters as a whole create a perfect balance of enjoyable and not so enjoyable moments. they create many happy, sad and even angry moments. I think ko yurims character development was really good, and the development of her and heedos relationship was really special.

overall... ( mega spoilers )
the story line of this kdrama was quite different, by making the two leads not end up together in the end. although I did shed a good few tears, I think there decision to not have them end together was amazing, it made the show different and memorable. I liked how this show explores a relationship that was just not meant to be. in my opinion, the idea of these two people sharing something so special that can't be categorised into any specific type of relationship is more beautiful than any romantic relationship out there.
this show demonstrated all different types of love, from friendship, relationships, siblings and the special bond between heedo and yijin. I liked the realness of this show, everything down from the relationship goods and bads to the affects of 911, the show really demonstrated all them issues really well. and
overall
if I could give this show a 100/100 I would

OMG the ost was also so good, a lot of the ost songs are still in my Spotify playlist.

now let me get controversial for a moment.

ok so I finished this when it came out so it's been a while, but let's deep dive into it.

firstly. the first series of this was an absolute masterpiece, with hardly any flaws. the story was so real and beautiful, the acting was fresh, the music was so fitting and don't get me started on the cinematography, it was one of the best.
I can't praise the first series enough, it's why the second series fell harder.
(no problem with the acting, just the story.)

ok so the first series was different to your usual Thai BL drama. it was special because it was so good. it showed a realistic story with difficult characters that were still loveable because they were still so obviously human. .... since it was so good it just meant season 2 fell harder.

the downfall ...

the downfall came when they decided to take an amazing show, swing it on its back and fuck it in its ass. like they made a special BL into a typical everyday Thai BL, it made it almost no longer special. first season was special because it portrayed a type of relationship that was a push and pull, that ended in harmony. it was this youthful and long-awaited relationship, a relationship that you work hard for and once it's there then it's bliss and harmony, a type of relationship that is almost pure despite the hardships they went through to get there.

And season 2 takes this amazing connection the two characters had, spat on it and stuck it in.... RAW
they added things into their relationship dynamic that went so against their dynamic. Like cheating?!? wtaf. teh cheating was so out of character keeping in mind how he overcame his struggle with accepting himself as who he was, and overcoming this issue with his sexuality to be there for the one he loves. He battled DEMONS in himself to overcome his fear for oh-aew and in season 2 Teh disregards all that and kisses and briefly falls for a random man ?

the worst part is that teh does this and it's not clearly explained why he felt like that. how can Teh go from being so in love with oh-aew to cheating on him and getting bored, to go back to loving oh-aew? feels like the director wanted to stick his cheeky little fingers up the character's dynamics ass and do handstands in there.
I was so annoyed, how could a director take such a masterpiece and make it so mediocre?
ik he was doing evil laughs to himself when changing the story, while wanking off with chilli peppers and peppermint.
The cinematography changed too, which almost makes the two series look extremely different, I'd say s2 looks adopted but ain't nobody choosing s2 to take home with them.

their relationship becomes like fake, boring and just not enjoyable to watch. disappointed can't even describe it. I was so confused because of how different the characters were from the first season.

I would've been happier if there was never a season 2, and just left the beauty of season 1.

soooo yeah, if u seen s1 and wanna watch s2... save yourself and keep the good image of this show and don't watch season two.

"do u really like it? or is there just men kissing " game,,, go!

ok first, casting.

casting - are they hot? yes. can they act well? uhm no

when this first came out everyone was riding it so hard. i watched it and every moment of it was a struggle. there acting seems corny and animated, when watching i wanted to scrape my eyes out with toothpicks.

ok, rain and his geezer (forgot his name).
rain is like a 12yr old spoilt baby who does not know the diffrence between what an apple and a mango is yet. who the hell writes a character so unbearable like him. hes whiny and annoying. his sexuality takes a whole 360, without him looking back? no thinking? ok bro u do u. but to me, that is abit.... unrealistic.

moving on to his boyfie, so payu ( googled his name) is hot as balls man. well boss is hot. payu is an odd goof ball to say the least. He's defo in them " Daddy dom, little kitten" GC on discord, and also an avid Reddit user. anyway, boss is hot until that GOD AWFUL SCENE. where hes fighting rains kidnappers. oh em gee, he looked dumb as hell... but no where near as dumb as rain did.

ok, sky - unpopular opinion but out of all the cast, hes my fav, go slay independent pussy popping queen.,, oh wait yeah i forgot pai happend. anywayssss, yeah hes alright to be honest, until hes going Awoll because of some shite with his bf (forgot why he went Awoll icl ) that one scene in his bedroom where hes like " i dont love u pai " then pai being like " u fat liar, ive seen ur notes" then sky being like "ok yh i love u pai" like GIRL STAND UP. anyways. was not a beyonce moment but well move past it.

ok pai - id be lying if i said i didnt prefer pai and sky on the screen then the other two. pai himself is lowkey cringe ( dw not like rain, hes highkey cringe) hes decent, and hot loooooollllll. but Abit persistent with sky, like r u sure sky hasn't got Stockholm syndrome, because if a guy tried to move to me that mad, id leave country in pure fear.

ok now story

girl lets be real, plot who, because i think she packed her bags and ran off.
lets all admit the scene where rain was kidnapped and had a rope in his mouth, flossing all them teeth and them cheeks was AWFUL and served what purpose apart from the comedic side? like that whole scene was diabolical. and after that scene rain and payu leave hand in hand? like these guys must be trauma resistant bc ik if i got kidnapped n my hot boyfie got beat up in front of me i wouldn't be so okay, like? i couldn't just skip out of there while singing and humming with the birds.
anyway. but this show has so many unnecessary scenes. like rain and payu legit engulfing each other on rains bed in rains gaff JUST after meeting rains mum was abit wild.
the second sex scene between pai and sky, lets go. lets talk about it class
ok so sky is getting freeky deeky in the sheets, after there one night stand, where hes like, hm i like pai now. ( still think sky was a VICTIM) anyway, sky bby why did this man JUMP ON pai with NO SHIRT ON. girlie no, its not like these p0rn movies. bro didn't even slip in a " hey i like u really much and i wanna have some of that d " NO bro just pounced and was like "why is pai stopping me and asking if im ok first ??????"
this show is ALL sex and NO story. unless the d that was in there booty could talk, i heard now intresting story at all.

something we NEED to talk ab is skys background and how it did not FIT this show. so far the show was comedic and somewhat lighthearted apart from the extensive face sucking.
then BOOM skys very dark and traumatic backstory, i think the concept is good to build the character, but his story hit u in the face like a pile of bricks, like such deep meaningful back story in a very wild and not so deep and meaningful show. i think skys character all together could've done better in a different show,
the overall story is messy, with random twists and some events happen that was big but then never talked about. like honestly how can u be kidnapped and then act like it never happend again after it was over? wish i was that resilient.

music???? girl i dont remember the music n that is enough said.

to finalise it, ill say overall wouldn't watch it again, but i stand by sky being the best character out of it.
