Because they have nothing better to do than complain about any and everything in any series GMM puts out
I understand what you mean, but I think there are better ways to portray the awkwardness of a first kiss than showing an almost contactless one. For instance, changing the focus to the hands, as you mentioned, is a much better idea.

Wow, you shouldn´t jump so easily into conclusions about other people —I also could call you uptight prude but I can´t know you to that extend just for a few words in a comment—... It´s not about being horny or not it´s about no one would believe that kiss/no kiss is real. A simple peck would be better than that fake -long lasting- contactless kiss.
It's interesting that you found the behaviors you're foaming at the mouth against, to be "cute." Perhaps…
And you just keep going!🙄 Thanks for the lesson. Now I can say it correctly: 'How pretentious and condescending! 👏🏽👏🏽—See? I can also learn from things I can't stand.

It's rather presumptuous to jump to conclusions about how I live my life, or to assume that I can't judge a character's personality, simply because I don't share your admiration for their qualities, or because I don't feel the need to justify characters that I don't think are worthy of such consideration. Correcting me for misspelling a word in a language that is not my mother tongue only serves to prove my previous point.

You're right that I find nothing admirable about Gyeon. Loyalty is the least you can expect from a friend. And I'd like to know what exactly DoHa needed protection from: a harmless hug? A walk on the beach? Or maybe it was from someone who could take care of him and eventually win him over? ...Anyway, I don't care anymore. Let's finally leave these characters to rest in peace. I'm not interested in them enough.😝

In my opinion, the characters and story in this drama aren't complex enough to justify an in-depth analysis. If they made the ML end up with the friend it must be because they find him the most deserving . I know, before you say it, that in life the person who deserves it most doesn't always win and that we don't always make the right decisions, but I don't think this is the kind of thoughtful drama that requires such elaborate analysis —if that was the creators' intention, they failed miserably. Rather, it's a romantic drama with rather flat characters and a p̶r̶e̶d̶i̶c̶t̶i̶b̶l̶e̶ supposed happy ending.
I hate toxic boyfriends — or even worse, toxic friends who want to be more — who try to defend me from anyone who simply wants to talk to me, for no good reason. They steal my right to decide for myself who I want to talk to, acting as if they own me and as if their way of loving me were the only proper way. Fortunately, there are other and better ways to show love besides being a fanatical and possesive prick. This behaviour shouldn't be overlooked, rewarded or portrayed as cute because it's not.
Komagine Kiita has had the same facial expression throughout the two seasons of the drama. If the camera did not focus on him, no one would know that he was feeling something.
Now jealous and resentful murderers deserve honourable funerals and thanks for their sacrifice, which, btw, would have been unnecessary if they weren't jealous and resentful murderers.🙄
