AOS was My old-time favourite before LITC. Prefer the first one story but like Go Youn Jung more in the 2nd one 😊

Me too! It’s also the first fantasy C-drama I enjoyed watching and got me into Xianxia, as LYX and HMH have surprisingly outperformed my old favourite Alchemy of Souls cast!

Sadly, I dropped POJ. Toward second half, not much intriguing plot or visual that could keep me going. Still prefer rewatching LITC ☺️

Her beautiful eyes and smile, and genuine demeanour are kind of addictive. I really can't enjoy and don't have good dramas to watch since I’ve finished watching her best dramas. Her acting is getting more insane as well!

She is very intelligent and thoughtful with words. I could see her charming soul behind her insane acting skills. Absolutely adore her as an actress and a person, hence, really looking forward to watching this epic DWTT!

I have been sending 300 flowers each week to her ever since she cured my K-drama withdrawal and made me enjoy watching fantasy C-costume drama again after a long while, and looking forward to that masterpiece too! Thank you, Ming Yi, and really rooting for Nan Yi!

Boring, dragging? Those are personal preferences. For me, it’s a wonderful slow-burning romance with good pacing. But, no chemistry, mid acting? Gosh, if you’ve completed the whole series, what more chemistry would you want to see? LYX and CXX's sweetness and smiles are contagious here and not cringey at all. Yes, Hu Xui is an ordinary character, a girl next door, who perhaps doesn't need to be acted too over the top. LYX was actually into the character as she always did (and this time it’s just to be ordinary), it’s smart acting, and definitely not mid. The natural chemistry, humour, and acting here are somehow all in balance and have given many of us a lovely feeling and happiness when watching, hence the rating and the awards. Though sadly not for you.

Imo, in terms of acting, Chen Xing Xu is at his best in LBL, although he’s not better than Bai Jing Ting in First Frost, but definitely better than Chen Fei Yu in Lighter and Princess, and Chen Zhe Yuan in Fated Heart (I was really trying to bear with CZY in FH, but had to drop Hidden Love and Love beyond the Grave because of him). On the contrary, our ladies, LYX, ZJY, LQ, and ZRN were indeed best for the roles. Thus, I wouldn't put LBL as the inferior among those dramas you mentioned, and it’s never going to be the worst drama, as they are equally good in different ways.

Yes, Perfect Match is a good watch! I love all the sisters. But still LYX is my number one! It’s really a great fun watching it! Tho I wish she could have more screen, even so, she's gorgeous here and nailed the character as always 😊
