Tbh, not long since I decided to watch C-dramas again after my K-drama withdrawal. But I’ve found that LYX is a naturally remarkable actress. Everything she touches would potentially turn into gold! I’ve watched almost all of her best dramas! Agreed with all the comments above. But I wouldn't regret watching all of them, as she has her own way of distinguishing each of her roles. Never been this excited about an Asian actress like this before! LYX has made me appreciate fantasy drama again. I recommend you watch other LYX dramas which have a rating of 8 or above; they are brilliant dramas.

No matter the terminology should be described, the face swap actor using AI also sounded creepy to me. So, that really answered why acting was off, like a robot with no natural expression and/or sometimes looked at the wrong way/direction when speaking to another person. It did put me off watching somehow. I have skipped his scenes several times, but he’s just in many frames. I couldn't stand it in the end 😬

That’s what I meant by AI actor: any character in the drama which has AI involvement for whatever reason. As a viewer, I could differ it straightaway as it bothered me a lot. Acting was off and unpleasant to watch; also, Wang Rou Hai's character has rather a lot of screen time here, not only some extras. I just can't stand watching it as much as I love WCR🙏

I might not drop this drama if there’s no (face swap) actor using AI. It’s a shame because the main lead couple are adorably hilarious, and I kinda like the story surrounding the investment banking. So, looking forward to the upcoming dramas of WCR and TJC as I like them. I hope it’ll be no more AI actors 🤞

AOS was My old-time favourite before LITC. Prefer the first one story but like Go Youn Jung more in the 2nd one 😊

Me too! It’s also the first fantasy C-drama I enjoyed watching and got me into Xianxia, as LYX and HMH have surprisingly outperformed my old favourite Alchemy of Souls cast!

Sadly, I dropped POJ. Toward second half, not much intriguing plot or visual that could keep me going. Still prefer rewatching LITC ☺️
