CFY is not bad but his acting is just barely satisfactory imo. His pretty face can be boring to look at somehow. Or maybe just me, as I just finished watching Love between Lines and Love in the Clouds where chemistry was naturally at the top If I watched L&P before LBL, both make were at their best chemistry and very attractive there.

I love her in Lighter & Princess too, her best modern drama for me. She didn't have interesting scenes in Zhai Hai. Good drama very little romance and very disappointing closure!

I am not embarrassed to say that I am falling for Lu Yuxia after watching Ming Yi, especially her insanely emotional acting in ep 19 and 23, the heartbreaking kiss in 33, and the cutest ep 36. Kudos for everyone in this drama also, most brilliant Xianxia and most beautiful spells choreography, especially Ming Yi’s Bow scene and netherbeast repelling umbrella and Heartbond Array scene ep 22, first enjoying fantasy and magic again since Harry potter Expecto Patronum! ☺️

I genuinely stopped breathing for a moment watching this…Sorry, I think I am falling harder after LITC; her gentle beauty is even more ethereal in real life! I didn't understand people who could call her ugly; and hate her innocence?

Aye Aye! Not only is her chemistry with Neo, who is a more established actor, but also LITC is his best imo. And my goodness, her emotional acting was also hard to top in ep 19 and 23, also in the most heartbreaking kiss in ep 33, and the cutest moment in ep 36😍

She is an amazing actress, I love her acting. What she really needs is a better co-star! Not really keen on 2 of the ML in her 2 best dramas, BIA and LAP. So, I am rooting for her!🤞

It’s a shame that she didn't do many costume dramas, so BIA is definitely her best! I am watching Lighter and Princess, she is actually amazing also in modern drama, though again not really keen on the ML so-so acting (same as BIA). I do hope she’ll have better luck with a co-star in the future, as I have dropped Hidden Love because of the not-so-great acting of the ML in her upcoming Chasing Dreams! 🤞She and Lu Yuxiao are my favorite young C-actresses since BIA. I couldn't stop praising that masterpiece historical drama though it’s sadly underrated!

Omg, I just realised that Lu Yuxiao was in this drama which i’ve watch it last year! I just noticed this year and became rather obsessed with her acting after MJTY, LBL, and BIA, and am currently watching LITC. She’s so good with whatever characters she portrayed.

She, by far, is the most interesting C-actress I’ve been rooting for since watching MJTY, unique in a really good way. I do admire her acting and now also adore her as a person with all her randomness. She could be hilariously funny, and also effortlessly charming and cute! Though It’s a shame, as it looks like her international fans can appreciate her natural talent and beauty more than many people in her own country.

She’s amazing in Blossom in Adversity!! That drama is a masterpiece! It’s a surprise, I found it rather late last month. But, completed and so loving it even 10x more than her previous drama I’ve watched, Legend of Zhang Hai, I didn't pay much attention to her in Legend of Zhang Hai, as there was not much of her screen time there compared to the ML. Just wondering if any of her other dramas are as great as Blossom in Adversity?

It’s the best drama with a beautiful masterpiece story telling, and brilliant acting! Sadly it’s underrated! Love Zhang Jing Yi and my new favourite actress, Lu Yuxiao, who was so lovable here! Another insanely good acting! Wow, Xiao Xiao (Shao Yao), what can you NOT do?

I am also, on the contrary, the FL's acting was remarkable, and she could naturally distinguish each of the characters she played in other dramas. I was actually surprised that it’s the same actress in My Journey to You and Blossom in Adversity. Her characters in those dramas are not easy to portray, but she’s nailed them! And love her expressive voice too! Guo Jing Ming, Director of MJTY, was highly praised for her strong conviction in her role as Shanggguan. Here, it’s just her portraying Hu Xui, it is just an ordinary girl character in an ordinary life story, but somehow she and CXX could make the drama naturally beautiful to watch and not cringey or overreacting, but it’s an extraordinarily simple drama with all their micro expression acting and chemistry. But of course, she is young, a lot of room for improvement. I bet she’d be one of the top young actors soon with her talent and improvement! I put my money on it (to send her flowers here 😁)

I haven’t, but it’s on my list as it seems like a very fantasy drama. I’d pick drama in this genre more carefully, and not yet really familiar with the ML. A bit hesitant also as my mind is still full of Alchemy of the Souls! The cinematography was superb! Is LYX character different also here?

I really liked this actress! Her acting was extraordinary and real! After Shangguan Qian, Hu Xiu and Shao Yao, I am her big fan! Just wondering if in any other characters she actually acted better than those? So far, I am happy watching these dramas, as they have a good rating. I normally try to watch only when the drama is highly rated, as not really want to waste my time and then end up dropping. Any recommendations?

I’ve binge-watched this drama over the higher-rated Pursuit of Jade! No regret, LBL has lighten up my life as I am into changing my career also after loosing my stable career. Sometimes, most of us just need a really heart-warming inspirational drama with stunning cinematography and beautiful romance like this. Very good looking couples, love their chemistry and their smiles are highly addictive! I’ll def rewatch each time I need to cheer my self up!

The cast will be Lin Yi and Lu Yuxiao! LYX has proven record for insane chemistry and acting and LY is a handsome bloke and acting def better than Chen Zhe Yuan. So, I hope the next Nanwu series will be in a good hand 🤞

Agree. This is why I hesitated to watch this, but I will give it a go as I like Tian Xi Wei. She is very cute. I love most actually watching the two Female leads in MJTY, both are badass, but the second one was better, insanely good. Looking for their best highly rated drama to watch now, to kill time during my redundancy :) MJTY is like my top for costume drama! So far, Pursuit of Jade is good drama, especially the cinematography, but I doubt it’d top that.
