I didn't mean to say you did but I just wanted to add on in my comment in case someone else thinks that way. I also agree because the production staff seems so biased against them. Scenes where Jin Chen talks to Song Qian and Hao are also edited out to make it seem like she groups w/ ZYT & it's so frustrating that scenes where both arranged dinner & Song Qian prepared cake are edited out to make it fit their own narrative.

As Victoria's fan, I also agree that Jin Chen is a victim of the production staff including other members. Most of Song Qian' s fans never claimed Song Qian's friend bought the food takeout, those were passerby fans or rumors to create traffic. From the start though, we have been only claiming the cake was ordered by her because someone else had that responsibility but didn't enact upon it.

I agree it was disrespectful considered that TJR bought food for everyone . I feel like it's never okay to disrespect food because even being able to eat and having enough food are privileges. I feel like rn only Hao, Victoria and TJR genuinely care about each other and the members. Not to put down other members, but that's what I assumed from ep 9. Idk why certain members have to do these low EQ actions especially ZYT or be disrespectful every ep. It doesn't hurt to be empathetic and mindful.

If she focused on recovering well independently and detaching happiness solely based on others, the ratings wouldn't have dropped so much. I simply wanted her to find happiness from within instead of seeking from others. My expectation of the show was to explore more of self-discovery and find validation from own self but that was haywire in this show or atleast dependent on others. Hence, removing the whole purpose of loving and finding your true self.

The hate he's getting is because of their criticism towards ZYT's actions. I don't hate her but her actions. This is because she's shown a certain way in the show when she truly wasn't or didn't do certain things. There are certain actions she did which made me see her in a different light. I mention her often because I am disappointed in this show due to her actions and the biased treatment she receives from the staff and of course, the editing team and the production staff. I am simply supporting my opinion with the scenes she was in because that's what contributed to my opinion. This was evident in a lot of her actions towards many members (ignored Hao, pushed Liu Ye in bts, belittled Jin Chen, etc) and is only aggravated by how contrastingly the staff treat ZYT vs Victoria, Hao and even Neo. As you can notice, the people she mistreated are not even my bias (some scenes were edited out as they uploaded several times due to backlash for the original clip). Also, regarding the rumors or nasty things on weibo I never looked into it or involved her into it. I am not saying she's inherently bad, because in my pov every person has good & bad traits but that shouldn't make them want to treat others disrespectfully or lack manners (that's not an excuse) especially when she doesn't contribute much. Not saying all the members are perfect but they still took some type of action that also benefitted the group or contributed to the work. However, in my pov, ZYT's actions surpassed a threshold. I am the type of person who stands up for others even if they are not my bias and know to distinguish right vs wrong regardless of who does it. Like you, I simply gave my opinion on the show with the reasoning behind it. Critiquing her actions & holding her accountable for them vs outrightly hating her without any reasoning are 2 different things. If you care to see previous comments with certain TJR and Neo's toxic fans name-calling or insulting the artists (not you), you can clearly see my response condemning them about hating either of them.

I never said you shouldn't express your opinion to any comment (in your previous comment, I respected your opinion even if I don't fully agree) but assuming what others are trying to say without clarifying or taking offense at everything (or even name-calling not targeted to your comment) is taking things too far. The problem is objectively critiquing someone does NOT equal hating. I did that for Hao too in the ep where Neo and she talked about team spirit. I compared both of their pros and cons in that convo, and critiqued her too. Does that mean I hate him or her? No, because I know how to weigh their actions. I have always supported Neo but it's unfortunate if fans give constructive criticism (not just to your bias but to any member) it automatically seems like a hate comment when for me somethings are just wrong/disrespectful regardless of who does it (even my bias & given that I really liked ZYT before). It's weird to enter anyone's room without their permission regardless of what condition that room is in. I still stand by my point that it's not okay to barge into someone's room for anyone. If Hao took charge and did it, I would have criticized her too but she wasn't a major party in that scenario which is why I didn't blame Neo because ZYT took the initiative to do it. For context, I don't even look at Douban and Weibo much to even gather all this info and form a cookie-cutter opinion.

Y'all need to stop acting like everyone with differing opinions than you is some robot. I had a good opinion of Neo and I still do but certain fans (not the entire fandom) are acting as if people having objective opinions is targeting your bias when it truly isn't. I feel bad for the hate he received but not everything is an attack on him. I am not saying others entering room is not wrong, but it's weird to stay for that long in a room (where there's clothes on bed and an unopened suitcase) especially without even the owner or roommate's permission. I don't blame him for that though because ZYT pushed for it. If she worked for it in the room, it would have been a little better as she's a female but it's weird for any stranger regardless of gender. This person gives their opinion and supports them with exact scenes that prompted their opinion, so why can't y'all be mature enough to distinguish a different opinion vs a hate comment? It doesn't help your or Neo's case. I shared similar opinions and that was while the eps were airing (even before stuff went down on Weibo or Douban).

I completely agree with all the points. I feel like some members had low EQ especially ZYT and Zishan (but I'm a little lenient with him because he's younger and hasn't experienced the real world much). For the surprise situation, I was also confused why they had to do it Victoria's room instead could have done in the living room or in their own rooms. I feel like for that most blame goes toward ZYT because she proposed that idea (it's seemed like she just wanted to portray herself as very empathetic which definitely backfired) and barely did the work for it. She simply made Neo do it when she could have done it as it's a female's room. Even he looked a bit awkward seeing how staged that surprise felt and that wasn't even a footage the staff took it was just video from online (which they didn't give credit for). Not showing basic etiquette towards Victoria's friend (only Hao and TJR changed positions at the table to give her friend more center spot and actively conversed with her), leaving open leftovers (which Hao had to eat later) and isolating certain members irked me so much maybe because to me they are fundamental manners you need to have.

I never said he got a script, but I said ZYT did. She knew she would be the tour guide for Tanzania and she also nuanced that her partner would be Neo as she was the one more keen on promoting as cp. There are certain scenes in bts where she nuances that. I don't think he knew though because in my pov he wouldn't have hesitated that much to paraglide if he knew they wouldn't need to save a lot of money as accomodations were already arranged. I am not satisfied with the footage they showed of the quiz and scoring because it feels weirdly sequenced and certain parts feel off. Feel free to reread my previous comments if you need further clarifications because that's definitely not what I stated or "deluded" to be exact in your terms. I respect your opinion too regarding the situation, but calling me delusional is so uncalled for especially when I was commenting with a good intention to separate Neo from that cp because that's what he is getting the criticism for (which again he doesn't deserve). It's a pity that certain toxic fans are dragging other members to defend Neo and are putting him in the same category as ZYT instead of addressing the root cause of this criticism and breaking any connection with that cp label (this doesn't target your comment).

I am not delusional, it's so funny that you are cornering people who actually stand up for others especially your bias. If you take the countless incidents that happened in all the eps so far, Hao, Victoria, Neo, TJR, Jin Chen, and Deng Enxi have all displayed pros and cons but were genuine in that show. That's my take however I found ZYT deliberately taking certain actions which made me see her in a negative light. This was only aggravated by how the show was edited to show she contributed a lot or was very friendly when she truly wasn't in the bts. Also, in that scene where she thinks Victoria was unhappy (even though she said she wasn't), she proposed to show stars on a projector beam but made Neo do all the work and likewise, in that show it was edited as if she ordered the cake for his bday but didn't. It was Victoria's friend who brought the cake and Hao was the one among the rest of the members who did the most work for his bday when ZYT did nothing except call others to eat without waiting for any of the 3 members including the bday boy; leaving leftovers (thank god Neo ordered McDonalds for Victoria and himself, but Hao still had to eat the leftovers). That's not even the tip of the iceberg. Scenes where she belittles/pushes other members in bts and outrightly disrespects them doesn't sit well with me. I am not saying any member is perfect including Hao or even Victoria (my bias), but they at least contribute along with Neo and care about the members to a certain extent. In the start, I wasn't even a fan of Hao because her tone was too commanding at times but she had the right intentions and did the work for it resulting in the group's benefit most of the time. The problem is some fans lack objectivity to even assess pros and cons when it comes anyone outside their bias.

Unfortunately, he was supposed to be selected as the tour guide by the staff and ZYT knew about it. Even if the scores aligned that way, it doesn't make sense to give Neo the opportunity again to be a tour guide because he is exhausted and as a program director it would be a better choice to select a new candidate as a tour guide to see how they handle the situation. If there's no script, they don't need to strictly stick to Neo becoming a tour guide again. Even if they are separate groups, it's inevitable for the tour guides to meet up separately or keep constantly interacting to keep each other posted on what's going on. Until now, several interactions of Neo with other females (except Victoria because she was a tour guide with him) have been edited out to highlight the cp with ZYT giving more of their separate interactions especially with bg or subtitles that make their interaction seem cp material (even if the audience in the first place never intended them to ship). Even in the variety show they recently starred, that was their concept but due to backlash towards ZYT it was mostly edited out. I am not saying he is promoting the cp, knew about this or even intended to be shipped, but certain actions ZYT does make the audience mislead and the program's editing definteily doesn't help Neo. I agree that people are definitely now using him as a tool though and it's not okay to deliberately drag him down when there's no fault.

I completely understand the frustration. I do feel bad for him as he's been a tour guide twice now, but Neo, Song Qian and Hao are all victims of the show's editing. There have been many scenarios where ZYT was given a golden spoon (she knew she was a tour guide beforehand for Tanzania and was literally given everything on a platter including housing, transport fees and other travel plans/schedule) and there were many incidents where she was shown to take initiative but instead the members did (not shown in most eps). The staff's plan was to sacrifice Song Qian and Hao in the Paris stop because that was the most expensive due to Olympics and they had very limited time to arrange, so if things mess up it falls on their heads. This also evident by the malicious editing towards Hao in beginning eps. The staff had no idea Victoria would pick Neo and tear up the script because in their mind he was "destined" for Tanzania to be tour guides with ZYT to propel the show's CP agenda. I don't think Neo was necessarily given a golden spoon, but she definitely was because she has to basically do 10% of what Neo and Song Qian did (that's only one of the reasons too). Due to the cp narrative the show is pushing for, I feel bad that he's intertwined into this mess when he really shouldn't have. I am not saing you support ZYT by any means, but it's frustrating how her actions have snowballed into this criticism for Neo too (which he doesn't deserve).

I think the initial eps are a little frustrating because he himself doesn't know what he truly believes and strives for. Even though he does want a revenge for his family, he was raised by a cop family and it was internalized since childhood that the rightful result for any evil is providing justice via the system instead of eye for an eye. So, he follows his guardians' footsteps and becomes a cop. Furthermore, in the first few eps he still doesn't know and trust Bitna enough to understand what she's doing and especially WHY. After he learns about her missions, he still takes time to process because of her "demon" label. After he truly understands her and himself, he finds peace with it.

I never said he initiates any cp behavior but ZYT does and at time it looks he just deals with it. I never shipped them from the start and simply thought they were good friends, however after seeing ZYT clinging onto him or sniffing him I was a little weirded out by her. He is friendly to everyone (never denied that or misinterpreted it), but the show puts most clips that have interaction between them and with the bgm/edits it creates a cp atmosphere which maybe even the audience didn't even initially consider. The fact that the staff make it so obvious with how they market them as a cp is what mainly doesn't sit well with audience. To put this feeling in words, it's like adding too much of artificial sweetner which makes it unbearably sweet, and fake making the audience want to puke. I don't have cp filter but I hope the staff and ZYT stop pushing it down our throats by making it so obvious.

Got it, I think some audience might misunderstand thinking Neo and ZYT agreed to the cp promotion instead of it being one-sided from ZYT's side. Unfortunately, certain scenes where they do skinship or even talk (as friends) are overemphasized via editing and bgm causing this misunderstanding. Furthermore, the cp was highlighted in the variety show they starred in recently even if that was not the intention of interaction between them it may project that way. Regardless, that shouldn't warrant any hatred towards him and I do feel he's wronged due to ZYT's forced cp narrative. It's sad that everything he's done is discredited for something he doesn't have much control over.

I am also on Weibo, but I don't think the fans actually are using him to critique ZYT because her actions and the biased treatment she gets from the staff is very much self- explanatory (to the point that neitizens are saying stop shoving the script on their faces). I don't support fans from any fandom attacking other fandoms or artists including my fandom. The byproduct of hate towards him is because of the staff and ZYT, so it's better for the fans to focus on separating Neo from the cp and connection with ZYT instead of continuing this hate cycle toward every fandom. I hope this also applies to certain toxic fans in other fandoms including mine.

Yes, I think Victoria, Neo and Hao have suffered in their own ways and are victims of the show's editing. Victoria and Hao are the ones who worked most for Neo's bday surprise (Victoria set up everything including the cake, and Hao was there to stage and pick Neo up). If you see my previous comments, you can clearly see that I condone hatred towards members regardless of how certain immature fans act (be it Neo's, TJR's or other fandoms including mine). If there's one main reason why your favorite is blamed for, it's because of the forced cp with ZYT which led certain neitizens to believe he also received a biased treatment like ZYT (why I believe he didn't receive). Also, blaming others fans' and grouping them with fans who spread hatred will make other fandoms run away further. I am Victoria's fan and I still stood up for Neo. Also, stop making it seem like all Victoria's fandom hates Neo because I have also seen them show support as he took care of her in Chile and didn't leave her alone with certain tasks in France. Furthermore, I think it doesn't make sense to claim certain fans represent the entire fandom as there are bad and good fans in every fandom. If you corner fans who actually show support, that won't help Neo's case and instead will push him further into a corner. I simply hope that show stops editing the clips in a way to force the cp narrative so some toxic fans can finally leave him alone.

I disagree that Neo is being treated as a royal. The one that benefits most from this arranged itinerary is ZYT because they still have money left which doesn't need to go toward the housing (also the prices are not that high there) and there's at least an outline of travel schedule/plan they should follow. She basically doesn't even have to do 10% of what Neo and Victoria did and on top of that she has an assistant. It also seemed like she knew this from the beginning but I'm unsure if Neo knew that he was the tourguide for Tanzania stop. Victoria chose him which shocked everyone including the staff because they thought she would choose Hao, or TJR (if a guy). However, Victoria unintentionally tore up that script and chose Neo. Neo and Victoria barely had sleep and had to work around that budget with limited time during the Olympic and she had to use up her connections and ask favors to survive there. If the staff at least had conscience, they would have pitied them and arranged the housing there because it's busier in Paris than in Tanzania rn. From the beginning eps, the editing seems to sacrifice Hao and Victoria to gain traffic but they underestimated Victoria's overseas connections/network. They had planned to make Victoria a tour guide and predicted she would choose Hao, so both would have to literally make ends meet in Paris and if things don't work out well they would be criticized by the audience. To mostly stick with the cp promotion, now they are pushing tourguide responsibility again onto Neo who's literally exhausted. It seems like the show and ZYT are simply using him as a tool to promote the cp narrative regardless of Neo's condition. It's so funny that the more the cp is pushed onto the cneitizens faces the more they find this scripted situation and the favorable treatment towards ZYT ridiculous. Unlike some international fans who ship them, most cneitizens want this forced cp promotion to end and definitely do not ship them. I don't think Neo has been benefited by this situation by any means instead is being blamed by a lot of fans because of ZYT. So, the only one receiving royal treatment is ZYT. You cannot discredit all his hardwork because of what the program and ZYT do because he carried most of the bags, takes care of members and is proactive especially when it comes to translating or taking up tasks. I like Victoria, Hao, TJR, Neo, Liu Ye, Jin Chen and Deng Enxi because they seem genuine. Zishan is childish but he's young and has not had much real world experience. Unfortunately, this preferential treatment of the program towards ZYT has backfired in atleast my pov.

She should have discussed with Hao instead of basically informing her because they are all running low on time to make last-minute decisions like this. She didn't even leave any room for conversation or asked Hao how she would navigate from there. She simply declared you are solo and we are a duo. If she stated she felt uncomfortable to Hao, Hao would have directly explained her reasoning to ZYT because she's straightforward. Furthermore, she is not a professional singer and singing is not her forte. She's an actor with experience, so reciting poetry would have a higher chance in delivering the best results. If at least, she does a solo I would have been more okay with. However, she is also working with Zishan. You have to be decent at singing if 2 people sing together because you have to be able to harmonize if singing same song or wisely choose and practice a song that has both female and male parts that's relatively easier. With the time they had, they don't have the liberty and time to be indecisive. If she had a song in mind and started practicing, it could have gone in her favor but she was still going back and forth until 1AM. I have stage freight too, but that doesn't mean I would do something that fits more into my comfort zone at the stake of my group's efforts. This was for a cultural exchange program not a talent show. I would have agreed with your last point if this was more for an informal setting like a talent show. I am unsure if ZYT (& Zishan) actually understood the significance and seriousness of the event because at times it seemed like she wasn't taking it as seriously compared to other members from the clips shown of the practice (even when they went downstairs to "practice") and the actual performance. I get that she's embarassed but at times you have to look past your embarassment and work hard at whatever you are doing.
