I feel like they are just not compatible. He's way too different than her in personality that they barely have anything jn common except humor. Their lifestyles and dating styles are different, so it makes sense she doesn’t pick him.

I see nothing wrong about bring transparent about your emotions. Maturity can be seen by how you treat others. For example, how she let Gyuri choose the book and the car because she knew she also liked Wooyeol, took care of Minju when she was sick, stepped back into room to give space to Seongmin and Minju. I have nothing against other cast members, but it seems like Minju and Yoonyeong seem to care more about other relationships like friendship instead of just romantic relationship as they get along with everyone and try to include others while having conversations.

The problem is not her being vocal about her opinions, but her trying to impose them on others. For example, she mentioned about adding her friend even after she deleted her multiple times. There's probably multiple scenarios that compiled/snow-balled for the friend to delete her, but in her conversation with Le Chen she was more focused on showing her "persistence" on getting the friend back instead of showing any willingness to understand her friend's pov. She also mentioned breaking up with her ex-boyfriend because he was willing to put in the effort to change and accomodate her but not at HER pace. This seems very self-centered because we are all adults who have lived our lives for most years based on own individual principles and that too changing at someone else's pace seems too controlling in my pov. If the effort is one-sided, then the other party keeps on expecting their partner to also change and that's not possible nor realistic for everything especially at the cost of your individuality and fundamental values. Also, does she even truly like him? She likes the version of him in her imagination, but not the real person. This is why Le Chen asks her what she thinks of him and finds her answer odd because that's not entirely who he is as a person. This is why it is puzzing for him and viewers on why she insists on liking him without even trying to actively listen and understand him like Yuan did. I am not blaming her for everything, but her values definitely do not align with Le Chen and she seems to view things more from rose-tinted glasses which is not feasible or practical and totally catered to her.

I think she's a guest role (more like cameo) for Liao Zhai. Her role is a fox tree demon or something along those lines.

He does go over to stay with his dad but that's temporary and ONLY because the mother doesn't have a job (is looking for one) and has other troubles including her father getting sick. So, he wants to stay with his dad to relieve her burden for now.

Too early to compare, but I'm personally like this more than glory later eps in terms of plot and acting. Even though the plot seems transparent in this show, the ML is lot smarter than he "acts".

For the main leads, I never hated them but didn't have a favorable impression on both because of their past work. However, they have proved me wrong on this one. The acting is nuanced and the director in bts knows how to make a simple scene into meaningful so he gives good suggestions to the actors too. Put this comment in case that's what is stopping anyone from watching. If the leads are stopping you, just give a few eps a try and you will notice the drama exponentially grows on you (at least in my case).

I am following both dramas (and have watched countless historical cdramas) and unfortunately, this one is not satisfactory to me. The writing is subpar and nothing is that impressive to keep me watching even though I individually love both actors. In contrast, blossom is better in every aspect. Blossom was not on my radar as the previous work by the actors didn't standout to me. However, I was proved wrong by how well they act (at least here) and the director is leaps better than this drama's director. Yes, opinions can vary but for me Blossom is holistically better.

I think this is definitely one of the underapprecitiated gems of 2024. The character setting is interesting (not fully unique) but works well as to why leads are perfect for each other or can be perfect for each other. The love triangle is dragged in later eps but it somehow works in this story because the male lead needs consistent external stimuli to trigger new feelings & especially realizations of those feelings. I do wish the female lead was more patient or at least properly communicated her expectations but that's kind of understandable as she already was deep in before knowing his disorder.

If you rewatch the show multiple times, Deoksun always had a soft spot for Taek. Yes, she started having a crush on Sunwoo & Junghwan because she thought they like her but when Dong Ryong asks her who she likes (instead of thinking if others like her) she ponders & has a preference towards Taek and as eps go on you can see with whom she can be vulnerable and truly herself (Taek). It takes her time to realize herself who she likes but from her small varyin actions when with Taek vs others we can gradually know who she truly loves.

My problem was not them eating, but portraying that there was something wrong with the food. If they could have said, "I am full or I don't want to eat that rn as I ate other food, thanks for the offer" it would have been completely okay because it's not their fault that they are full/don't want to eat it rn. It didn't sit well with me how that conversation was carried out, though. I agree that Neo was underappreciated for his efforts & contribution in France which was why I was mad at the production team because both tour guides had to work so hard to arrange everything when the staff could've helped a little like they did for Tanzania (but even in Tanzania, he got the shorter end of the stick). When Victoria bought him a gift, I was glad he received a gift because it seems like he deserved more. This was also another reason I was not pleased w/ ZYT's actions because more than caring about his bday surprise & ordering cake (which was her responsibility that she took initiative to take) Victoria had to order it last-minute & ZYT was literally telling her & others what to do. It looked like she was just ordering around people instead of actually contributing like Hao & Victoria. This is different than the rest of members not doing much for the surprise because ZYT was the one who claimed she would do it unlike other members. If she did some actual work that was not included in the clip, then I will gladly take back my opinion on that incident. This has nothing to do with the leftover incident because that was only the production team's fault.

To me, it was a sarcastic laugh based on the context. Until now, there was nothing Neo did in particular that bothered me & I get he laughs as a coping mechanism, but in that context it didn't even make sense to sarcastically laugh & make that comment followed by ZYT's comment. I am not a fan of TJR or Neo, so I look at their interactions in a less biased way. For ZYT, it's hypocritical for her to eat fries and literally say that to TJR. All the members were friendly and sincerely conversed with the medical team, so I won't go into specifics saying if she was or wasn't sincere. It was wrong of her to say those words regardless of her intentions because it's contradictory to their purpose of promoting tourism. It's also a matter of EQ to show gratitude if someone spent their pocket money to buy food (even if it's something you don't like or in this case, bbq which they have eaten before).

As an animal lover, cooked or fried foods are usually prepared with oils, butter, and seasonings which may be toxic to cats due to their high fat content, potential of choking hazard due to bones, artificial ingredients, seasonings, etc. Regardless of that, it's weird to laugh at the food & make that comment as part of some humor or sarcasm instead from a place of genuine concern to help out the kittens. This can be interpreted in any way as it's subjective. My main problem was with ZYT's comment literally stating she found the food unhygienic. It's okay to have preferences & not eat, but projecting there is something wrong with the food when they came to promote tourism to Tanzania is ridiculous. It's okay for any of them to not eat, but making fun of the food or projecting it as bad is where the problem lies. Again, I didn't check those cyberbulling posts or gossip accounts especially after this ep so this was my own interpretation. We can have different opinions & even maturely & respectfully disagree, but it's funny when people think anyone with other reasoning or interpretation isn't capable of thinking on their own.

I am not Ms.Chen's fan, and I still don't like certain actions ZYT does. This has nothing to do w/ the leftovers incident because that's not any of the members' fault but the production team's. I said most fans of Victoria & not all. Furthermore, having or not having a certain dp doesn't mean they are part of the fandom. She's not in my dp, but that doesn't make me any less of her fan? If you see the comments, you can see people (even without her in dp) stating that they her fan for yrs & don't want anyone else to use her name as a weapon to demean others. When people can respectfully comment even with different opinions, I don't get why certain people have to take everything personally & attack others. Why would I be happy because someone is apologizing? I respectfully disagree with what you said & that's okay. Like you said, it's just a show.

Do you even know how large Victoria's fandom is? She has a lot of fans in China and even internationally. I also have screenshots of her fans commenting under videos literally telling the op to stop bringing up her name as some sort of validation to drag others. I know there are toxic fans in every fandom that hate others for no reason, but from what I have seen most of her actual fans didn't claim that she bought the food only the cake especially after her friend posted the picture with the cake. If she posted that proof & not any photo of the takeout, there's no reason to assume she bought the food as that would have also been in that photo. Why would we be excited to hate on others for no reason? She's one of the popular members in this show, so there's no need to join the bandwagon & hype her up in this way. A lot of people truly praising her rn are passer-by fans who found out more about her personality from the show & are appreciating how she's been the same since her debut. I never denied that it's mainly the production team's fault for maliciously editing scenes.

Most of her genuine fans don't drag others because Victoria herself has been a target of fanwars. I also don't have a good impression of ZYT not because of how she treats Victoria, but other members. Even if I was not Victoria's fan, I would have still held the same opinion on certain members including ZYT. Most accounts that posted the part claiming the food takeout was Victoria's on weibo & bilibili were gossip accounts discussing review of eps or talking about other members. Under those posts, you could see Victoria fans commenting to stop mentioning her name to drag other members. The only claim especially with evidence that was made was that Song Qian ordered the cake which was initially ZYT's responsibility but Song Qian's efforts or even a statement that she ordered was not included/acknowledged in the main clip. After seeing how weirdly the staff edited the clip for that leftover incident, I don't hold anyone accountable & even feel bad for Jin Chen because like Victoria scenes where Jin Chen contributed have been edited out. I have nothing against Jin Chen before or even now, so stop insinuating otherwise to make misunderstandings. Whenever I had an opinion on any member, I always stated my reasoning & the action they did instead of blindly hating them. You can respectfully disagree with my opinions because this is a forum. However, attacking others or assuming things to fit your own narrative is a far stretch.

I literally reset my views on ZYT every ep & she still ends up doing a certain action which make her look disrespectful or careless of others' boundaries. I won't include the leftovers incident because that was mainly the production team's fault for editing in such a way (so don't really blame her or anyone else there). However, I agree with the part where she doesn't respect others' boundaries. At times, she doesn't reveal the context or intention of her statements/actions which leads to a gap between members or some misunderstanding (Ex: the gift situation w/ Jin Chen). This show is a travel show but also a show for enhancing foreign relations & tourism. So, it feels disrespectful to insult food by saying it's unhygienic or looking at it with disgust. I understand people have preferences, so it's completely ok for her to not eat but it was unnecessary to project that there was something wrong with the food (not good for promoting a positive image of Tanzania & also TJR bought food for everyone w/ his own pocket money). Furthermore, her trying to get the center spot & nudging Liu Ye in photo for TV brodcast (when the diplomats are speaking & getting photo taken) or making weird expressions rubbed me off the wrong way. For the last part, I don't want to fully blame her yet as I can't trust the editing & need more context.
