I tested copy-pasting an actor’s name into the search bar using the name from the actor’s page I had already opened on Haixingduanju, but the results never worked. So I have to manually look for actors through the “actor collection” feature or by searching from the drama itself.

Yesterday I just watched Chen Wai’s new drama. On Duanjubaike there’s no data, but on the new website Haixingduanju that you recommended, it turns out there is data.
The drawback, however, is that the Chinese characters for some actors’ names on Duanjubaike and Haixingduanju are different. Several times I tried searching for actor information by copy pasting the name from Duanjubaike, but it couldn’t be accessed / no results appeared. (i use duanjubaike for a long time, so i clearly often used actors name from that web) Previously I used Douban to look up information, but unfortunately you have to log in to see complete details.
