Next time I know not to watch anything with too many MLs ... I think it's a trend right now that the FL has at least 3 choices and always settles for the safest option.
The recent ep 26-27 reach the point where it's no longer fun to watch. ep 28-29 probably going to be her farm life (fillers) In the novel she cooked the noodle soup for him, and they parted in good terms.
I just want to see ep 30 because the rest is just as expected from reading the novel, except she didn't gain weight! I just want to see the new interpretation of this novel. Hopefully, it makes sense and adds some insights aside from the FL's dream narrative. All of these episodes are just her narrative and what she "wants" ... we don't know if it's the real story.
Meanwhile ... I am going to be watching my favorite actress in Kdrama Castaway Diva. At least it's not a dream.
all of this was utterly useless cuz ZXW punished the entire Meng family, like he said he would by taking away…
I think this ep25 is not showing HQ as a logical person ... on the surface she seems to be doing her duty ... again, she's making a dramatic sacrifice without thinking about the big picture: letting other people clean up the mess for her. ZXW or his mother will have to do that ... We all know his mother will do that ... in any case, I am not happy with the way the script is progressing ... doesn't make sense, especially she knows that her father loves her ... why would he let her take responsibility?

Wow! He is sooooooo good in that drama "King is not Easy." I just saw the trailer. TBH, I like him in his natural looks compared to the way he is now. His face was very animated and so was his eyes.

You can tell because the upper lines are deeper and they don't taper naturally like normal eye lines. And also the eyes are perfect ... normal human eyes are naturally imperfect and asymmetrical.
I personally feel that something is amiss. I could be the only one, but I can't seem to "buy-in" to the seemingly…
When I read the book ... I also feel the abruptness of the shift of emotions... Well in the case of the book, she's not even the actual girl that he felt in love with. So the girl in the book just makes decisions based on practicality. For the drama, since they changed the story, they should have added context for her feelings. Well .... I guess they did because they showed how he saved her ... but they should have done more. Short glimpses into their romance are not enough. I guess the focus of the drama is more like her investigation and redemption.
FINALLY I find one good thing about ZXW, he is being a good Lord and making sure everybody pay for their crimes…
I find HRZ'us acting very distracting due to his eye surgery (double-lid)... It just feels not realistic some how. For actors, the eyes are the windows to the soul. If they are not real, they just become distractions. I don't watch Kdramas whose actresses have eyes surgery because of the same reason. Maybe it's just me ... I watch the eyes a lot more than other features of the face.
I find that the script writers of the drama are very clever. We know that the ending will be in the real world. But we still don't know if she will end up alone or not. So still have to watch the last episode to know ... very good marketing trick. In stories like this in which there is a novel, 3 MLs, and the novel already revealed the end game, It's good marketing strategy for them to rewrite and maintain the suspense.
With the women empowerment movement in China and Hollywood, and she kept saying "as expected, love will cause you to make mistakes" , it's probably a hint.
From the comments, it looks like the story might only be happening in Hua Qian's dreams while she is in a coma.…
Besides, the story is very entertaining ... the way the story is artistically filmed like a Jane Austen movie is fun to watch. Sometimes the journey is more than the destination. I don't mind seeing the dream unfolding, the aesthetics, etc ...

It's not a waste of time if the FL changed and grew from the dreams.. and we can see the process ... if she can be redeemed through her evolving character development ... besides, anything can happen ... it's a story.
