I just watched her in One Room Angel and thought she was playing the ML's sister or a good friend. Imagine my surprise to discover her character is ML's mother! Unbelievable! The actor playing her son looks older than her!
Poster gives such japanese drama vibe....Everything actually feels very japanese: quirky characters, rock music, short episodes, tree in the middle of the hospital. I am grateful for the subs but they are just awful, almost incomprehensible! Almost!
I remember dropping a drama once because the main lead looked exactly like a young version of an actor I had just finished watching in a drama as an evil mastermind (both dramas were made the same year but different countries...).... Fun article! I often notice these "doppelgangers", usually not from the same country, and very often it is distracting because I keep thinking about where I had seen the actor instead of following the plot!
Shopping King Louis, The Secret Garden, I Hear Your Voice (I don't remember the role he had in this last one: I was too focused on the main leads' antics...).
Wow! This is really a big coincidence! I started to watch it yesterday too😊I watch the uncut version(I think)…
Lee Long Shi, the actor who plays Day, is the only one actually acting and he is completely carrying this drama on his shoulders. Thankfully! The others are just barely there and Frank (Itt) is just hopeless.... But the story is good so I am enjoying this messy relationship! The uncut version has episodes 60min long so there is 15min more of plot in every episode. They seem to have been reedited as well (I watched the first episode of both versions and there are many differences!).
Great review! I agree with everything you said: this series was cute, informative, bold and fun! Unexpected pleasure to watch! Have you seen 17.3 About a Sex, a japanese drama with the similar topic but a bit more serious(no time travel) though still very much bingeable and fun!
Funny coincidence! Same here! I just finished watching episode 6 a few minutes ago! I started watching it on a whim yesterday and got hooked straight away! Which version are you watching? The uncut one is actually really good and I am amazed that the ratings are so low! Probably because it lacks fluff and is very toxic and angsty! Definitely not the usual sweet and romantic bl but so much fun nevertheless! If only the acting were better, it would (so far!) deserve a 9! Let's see if they manage to keep it up for another six episodes!
In Japan, blood type horoscope is a thing and quite often they classify people's personalities from their blood…
True! Fortunately I never had any medical emergencies but I should probably find it out.
Thank you for the explanation!
I was always so confused by the importance asians give to blood type: it features heavily in introductions to actors, different articles etc. I always thought it was a private information. It is so fascinating to discover and understand other cultures...
I am new to j dramas and this article is a good introduction to it. But, I have a question: why is the blood type so important in Asia, particularly Japan? I have absolutely no idea which is my own blood type, nobody ever asked me about it but here it is an important feature. Is it a cultural difference or something else?
