Thankyou Director Zeng who left an impression in Butterflied Lovers and Blossom. This drama hasnt disappoint and I had such huge expectations cause the novel was damn good. The aethetics were spot on and captured the leads in the best possible angle and light that amplifies the atmosphere, the pace and development were just right. Cant wait for tonight's episodes

Finally a drama that doesnt drop the ball halfway. So engaging and such wonderful performance from our leads. I enjoy mature thought processes. And a FL that doesnt suddenly lost her intelligence when it comes to SML. Keen awareness, professional distance and ability to see through his deeds. I admire how much security Hu Xiao gives to ML.
Strong start from modern C dramas this year

Hu Xiu has catapulted onto my list of fav FL character. They way shes in a relationship is so wholesome. Thank goodness the script din let us down. Shes not a sitting duck. She tells her man how to love her. Tell me, let me in or let me go. Now that's ultimatum.

You need to watch this drama alone. Cauae you find yourself smiling and laughing silly at the screen. They r both so cute when jealous.

HX has a good head on her shoulders. Love it shes no pushover or easily manipulated. Shes always been so clear about her feelings with ML too.

Im actually happy the angst is earlier and not like 1 epi before the penultimate. And ofcz express saves the day. I thk without the angst, we wouldnt get that pent up hot scene later
