This is one of those rare drama where I feel comforted with just watching the ml and fl relationship. They truly have a healthy one. No obsessiveness, no over-the-top jealousy, no unnecessary misunderstanding 👍🏻
Don't know why there's so many negative comments but I'm four episodes in and I'm liking it so far. Curious about the end so I took a peek of the novel ending and decided to continue. Chen Feiyu is really handsome here, I also like Sabrina Zhuang from LoTCH. For me, there's nothing wrong with their chemistry, so I'll be waiting for the next episodes.
Rewatching the ending because I'm not sure how I'll take it.. I guess it's more like a bittersweet ending (?) It's happy, but with a tinge of sadness, bcoz we know he'll passed away sooner than his family, just like the others beside him, but we didn't know for how long he'll survive. This kind of ending makes it more memorable, but the romantic side of me keep wishing they sticks to the convensional "and they live happily ever after" to make my mind at ease 🙈
The last scene so clever made: Fu Yunxi together with the deads, all in gray and blue and Hanyan with the living…
I noticed it too and it got me worried. I like your description better.. "on borrowed time"... Considering his condition, I'll leave it at that, but at least he can live longer, and I like the way he see it positively, how it'll make them treasure their time together more, it's really sweet and sad at the same time, but that's life.. Let's appreciate it while we can..

I also love the tension between the ML & FL. The relationship between the FL & her mother, wow. Both actresses…
I love them too.. ML and FL have sizzling chemistry, we can feel the tension everytime they're together, like they're attracted to eo but tried to deny it.

I just hope this one would be more generous in their kiss/romantic scenes than The Double 🤭 One thing that's been bothering me is the relationship between Fu Yunxi and his late wife. Was it good? Did he love her? I don't want to be cruel, but when I watch a drama I'd prefer my male lead to be solely devoted to the fl. I'm saying this bcoz the daughter is so cute and such a dear, I really don't want to doubt the affection he felt toward his late wife and compare it to Hanyan 😔 I hope they will elaborate more about this later on in the show
