Never thought I’d say this about a fighting scene, but the one in ep.12 is so artistically satisfying.

His character is based on classic novels. Based on that, he will have a wife and children. The person who will become his wife appears in this series too but I’m not sure how far the series will explore about their romance (if any).

9 eps in and I love the fight scenes!! It's executed very well imo. And the overall tone of the series kind of reminds me of old school wuxia and I really like it.

Maybe I'll do the same, so it wouldn't ruin my enjoyment in watching the show..

A little bit of both I guess.. From short excerpts I read about DYH, I don't think she fits the character, and so far I still couldn't enjoy watching her act. To me it feels like she's trying too hard (to make certain expressions) that it doesn't feel natural. But perhaps it's just me.

And I think the pattern continues. When they introduce Ding Yuehua character in ep.6, sorry to say, I immediately thought it'll be better if the maid played DYH instead 🤦🏻‍♀️

Forgive me for not being a fan of the casting for Ding Yuehua.. During the flashback introduction, I kinda wish it was the maid who would play her 😭

Tbh I haven't watched any of her drama in full. I've tried several times, but I just can't seem to pass episode 1.

Yes I know, but it's rather disheartening for me knowing that she'll be playing Ding Yuehua.. Like I said before, she didn't fit the image of Ding Yuehua I had in my mind.

I just saw it, I think you're right, that's Ding Yuehua. Perhaps they spin the story a bit and somehow she ended up as the moon envoy (?). Tbh I'm expecting for a different actress to play Ding Yuehua. I don't mean anything bad by it, she's just different with how I imagine Ding Yuehua would be.

But her name here is Zhang Yue Shi? I haven't watch ep.6, but I don't recall reading that Ding Yuehua is a part of a sect 🤔 although I do wish this drama will include Ding Yuehua..

Silly me.. I just realize that Yang Yang's character is THE Zhan Zhao from Justice Bao 😅

I was hoping this drama is adapted from a novel, but I guess it's not.. I really need spoiler about chen hui and songge, I hope they won't have a tragic ending..

Wow, what an amazing start.. I've waited so long for this drama to air and it really live up to my expectations. I love everything about it.
