What are we going through a toxic relationship drama era? I know it's been trend writing rude FL in the name of…
This. Since when does strong female translate to unlikable female? I keep seeing this trend more & more often in dramaland. Can't a female have a backbone AND be nice?

God that’s a lot
Wouldn't be a real c-drama if there wasn't a huge time lapse at the end with some random reason whatever couple isn't together 😂

I don't think so. That song could have been better. For me anyways.
Petition to remove all karaoke scenes out of Asian dramas. Please, stop adding them in! 🙏

Title The Unclouded Soul Spoiler
I finished this drama yesterday. I can't believe I plodded through 40 eps only to have HY sacrifice himself for…
This, I don't exactly dislike the Seven Tan, but I find I'm particularly picky about her characters. Loved her in Go Ahead as well but also think she was miscast here. She's the only reason it took me over a week to make it just through episode when Im speeding thru other dramas. For me, the way she's doing the character just feels like over acting. And then finding the ending is the way it is just makes me want to throw in the whole towel now and find something else I would enjoy more. I dont mind sad/ open endings on shows, but I feel they are overused here lately. Especially the, let me sacrifice myself even when all know there are plenty of other options endings. 🙄

I'm absolutely loving the female lead in the Glory and she hasn't even smiled once in the first 6 episodes 🤣, so I will skip to that full time.

I totally agree with you. I think that was one of the reasons the mum ignored him. When he was a kid, and the…
No, I really get that and dont blame him for the decision. My issue is I feel in the end we have a whole drama of her chasing after him again in multiple episodes. Then we have 5 seconds of him walking 9 steps to an elevator. I would have been ecstatic if the elevator had closed, she went home and packed and left the country. That would have forced him to actually put a smidgen of effort into tracking her down for once. Like, it could have lasted 15 minutes and would have saved the entire show for me. Its hard for me to put complete faith in an epic relationship when one half puts in all the work and the other one seemingly just waits around for her to show up because he knows how desperate she is to be with him. I'm not hating on the show, just super frustrated how they did that part.

Okay fine, I can vibe with that. He didn't want to be a burden. But where are my episodes of him years later finding out she's been miserable and alone the entire time and SHE MAKES HIM WIN HER BACK!!. I need those episodes! Where are they?!?!

I think part of the reason Im more irritated with him is he was the adult who made promises to his younger and much more immature GF. He did that willingly. For those mad at her for leaving and especially not investigating earlier the truth, I somewhat agree. But she was so trusting it never occured yo her he would lie to her. And again, she was the young, immature one, I didn't expect well thought out rational decisions from her. 😆

No, watch it, the first 3/4 is soooo worth it. And the ending isn't terrible, I just feel it doesn't live up to the beginning. But their chemistry is insane, so please watch it. :)

I guess Im in the minority here. Maybe its because Im older and have a different perspective on things. While sometimes Mu Mu's immaturty has annoyed me, overall I really enjoyed this series. But its really been disappointing watching these last couple episodes.

The whole series MuMu has been chasing after He Yu and its been fun to watch, but I was so psyched when the break up happened. Fiiinnaalllllyyy we will get a chance to see He Yu fight for her. But no. Again and again she went out of her way to look for him. Meanwhile he sat in the corner and licked his wounds. I understand doing this for a time, I really do. But saying this is for her is a fantasy. The restaurant thing and waiting to heal was to help with his guilt for leaving her and make her feel close to him. Another words the reality is these actions were for him to feel better. Im sure many will dusagree.

In ep. 25, when she went to walk out of his apt I literally felt like a proud parent. She finally found some pride! Yay! But gives in 2 seconds later when he kisses her because hes scared she'll leave. My issue is, he has literally never done a single thing to fight her. So for me, the so called reunion was beyond disappointing. All the supposed sweet moments after that were not even enjoyable to watch. I suddenly felt like I had just watched 26 episodes of a sasaeng chasing her idol and the idol finally giving in because why not? Its so frustrating to me. It leaves me with the impression that yes he loves her, but not enough to fight for her. His own pride comes first. And the first moment he falls in front of her or something else embarrassing he will absolutely kick her to the curb again because she's not enough. I literally hate that feeling.

If the writers had just given me some inkling that showed her she was worth chasing and fighting for, I would be writing a whole other paragraph.

Sigh.

Same. I love her until she opens her mouth. Shes adorable and a good actress but especially her voice makes me view every one of her leading males as a complete pedophile lol. I think this may be my first racing C-Drama? Interesting so far!

Lol no. Thats a super common trope. Not related by blood = fair game in Asian drama world 🤪

Episode 1, timestamp 11:11: If someone doesn't know the accent or how to speak a different language (like English…
I saw an interview once with a side character of a show who played a random Westerner. During the drama I was like dang they are terrible at English, particularly the pacing was really bad. But during the interview the actor said when they tried to talk normally during the scenes, the director kept making them change it and talk slower and slower where it was super unnatural. So when I hear 'bad English' now in Asian dramas I always wonder if its really the actor, or if they were told to talk that way.
