I know exactly what you mean... I have disliked wildly popular shows, including QOT, with a passion. Not throwing shade at anybody who did. Different strokes for different folks. I suggest you watch the first 2-4 episodes. If you don't care by then, perhaps, LR is not to your taste. Go in keeping your expectations low.

Please refrain from assuming things that weren't said. It's a tricky habit to have, and one that would take you nowhere. Also, assuming all are women is dangerously generalising. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, however, what no one is allowed to do is dismiss those who call you out for incorrect information, and potential slander as bots. If you don't like a show, don't lecture those who do. You can obviously say you didn't like the show, however, please refrain from manipulating opinions to validate your own position of disliking it. You ought to read your own posts carefully. You may find out where you went wrong and invited such criticism.

Ratings becoming irrelevant on MDL can seriously affect our efforts to combat global warming amongst other issues. We ought to seriously reflect on ourselves on what we like. If we like something subpar, it is the duty of the wiser MDL users to help us correct course and bring us into the light. In this miserable world, we shouldn't enjoy harmless shows like LR, we should enjoy shows keeping in mind the ratings they deserve on MDL, rather than the the extent to which those shows brought us joy. We must particularly ensure that those who enjoyed the show are not bots or hired by the showrunners.

Exactly. If one likes LR, then that person is likely a troll bot. The internet is such a fascinating place. MDL is damn famous, yet, it has no checks against fans liking particular shows way more than they should. Such fans seriously ought to be reasonable like those who don't like a show and keep policing those who do.

The showrunners are certainly not busy with preparing the Blu-ray edition of LR with english subtitles, managing ridiculous crowds at the show's pop-up store, dealing with fans flooding their social media accounts, tackling saesang fans who refuse to take no for an answer, planning the logistics of shipping merchandise such as scripts to regions all over the world, and reserving an entire movie theater for the broadcast of the final episode. It's laughable the lengths they are going to hype up a show that attracted no PPL, had several male actors turning its offer down before BWS took an interest, took 3 years for its production to start, had actors without much star power, saw directors being changed midway during its shoot, was on the verge of a boycott, got a Mon-Tues airing slot, was aired around the time when Queen of Tears finished airing, was expected to scrape the bottom of the barrel in terms of ratings, and most of the MDL audience tuned in due to Kim Hye Yoon, boredom or a need for distraction from real life issues, anything except for the premise. The showrunners are seriously wasting their time trying to boost LR's ratings on an English language site which is mostly frequented by South Koreans who mostly speak English even at home. I guess coverage of LR's popularity isn't being done properly by Korean language newspapers and business news sites. Seriously, Netflix is foolish in trying to cash in on LR's success. The showrunners are probably trying the boost LR's buzz here on MDL because they have to lure in the international audience, because they failed miserably to grab the attention of the domestic audience on MDL, and elsewhere in South Korea. All these people need to touch grass. SMH.
