I think, in the first timeline, it was to do with Sol liking boys who were in a band, aka, Taesung, and then, as a favour to In Hyuk. Then, post her accident, it may have been a way to escape and give expression to his fruitless love. He quit, perhaps, because he couldn't take the stress anymore. Also, with guilt eating away at his soul, he must have too tired to care for a life in the public eye.

Oddly enough, I like them. The best part about the script is that given the way they have been written, they never overstay their welcome. Also, I adore the actress who plays Hyun Ju, so maybe my loving her talent makes me like their scenes more.

His father reminded me of Joey covering for Chandler and Monica in Friends. 🤣

It also adds to the villain's mystique. The viewer gets to know almost as little as the characters themselves, thus, amping up the danger and the stakes. They have been cutting the teasers quite well too.
