Yeah, its fine as a 1.5hr movie like the 2 titles I mentioned above, but as a 24-30eps drama with no other plot, needs to be well executed and not just entirely rely on chemistry.

I think there's no need to worry cause so far reuters' been mostly outdoors, and the filming still has a long way to go. And maybe the drama will add some stuff since the novel is quite short too.

Read the novel and, its not for me. Maybe if I was younger it'd be like Crazy Little Thing Called Love (og) and From Me To You.

But since ZLS is really good with romance and chemistry, I'd still check this out once its airs.

If only, but I think LLTG production is a rare dream team. A talented ml, good writers, passionate director that believes in his actors and cp, og author on board, and others in designs, props, lighting, etc.
Not even the biggest actresses in c-ent get to have the perfect dream team every project.

Yeah, WRTW isn't her first 'drama within a drama' but she is still doing fine in the business.

And all her main leads are big/popular names. So when I heard she's also trying to get a known name for ml here I got concerned that even though ZLS is the first casted, a bigger name will be ml so its gonna be WRTW all over again.

I'm not talking about billing, its normal for ZLS to be 2nd since she's new/young. But I want her characters to be a true fl with a proper story, not just a love interest.

Nolto really changed the set to accommodate their FIRST full group guest. Nothing but the best for Soshi.

I couldn't take those scenes seriously because other than me already disliking the repetitive palace drama and them making the ml a crybaby, it reminds me of the powerpuff girls. lol

The producer needs to be professional fr, keep them private stuff private.

Even though ZLS is already good, this is still her first major xianxia. And a sequel at that. So this project can still affect her.
On the other hand, that producer is known for her 'drama within a drama'. Yet she's still doing just fine.
