Overall, its the typical 'city girl going back to the countryside and reuniting with her ex when she's already in a relationship' trope. That's it.

And I was really hoping the siblings would survive. I felt their goodbye scene more than the main cp's supposedly emotional one.
Because death between lovers is sad and all, but death between siblings is pure heart wrenching.

If there's a S2, I won't be surprised if ml is actually alive. It's not the first nor second time the writers made it look like he was already dead.
That ending, either they were just amazed by 2fl's superpowers or they're seeing a familiar face.

This was such a fun and exciting watch.
Everyone did well with their roles, except the fl. I didn't wanna single her out but she really was just the only character that I didn't feel any emotions. My faves are still the same until the end, 2fl, archer girl, science teacher, detective and policeman.

I liked this way better than Sweet Home esp. the cast ensemble and the characters, even the ones considered useless and villains.

Overall, this was a really good zombie thriller.
Fast paced and kept me interested from the first ep to the last. A rare drama that I watched because I genuinely enjoyed it and not just for the sake of finishing it.

I usually base my first impression on the first 4 eps, but regardless if its a prologue or the story proper already, there should be at least something in those 4 eps to keep me interested to continue. Thanks for the info, I do plan on getting back and giving it a few more eps before deciding if its worth the time. For now there's just another drama that I find more interesting.

First impression, its okay, but not giving me any excitement to continue.
And I don't feel any spark between the leads. I know its probably a slow burn like many in this genre, but for a romance I need to at least feel something between the cp.
I'll put this on hold for now. I'll try to get back to this after All Of Us Are Dead.

Halfway through and its still fun.
My fave characters so far are the archer senior, she's so cool, and 2fl, that slap she gave was so satisfying, and her chemistry with 2ml is good. Way better than fl and ml. Others that I liked are the detective, policeman and the science teacher.
The ml is okay, though some of his choices are questionable, while the fl... I don't even remember what she did. The smoker girl, bullied girl and even the murderer were more memorable.

So far its one of those rare dramas for me where I continue to watch because I genuinely enjoy it instead for just the sake of finishing it.
Looking forward to the second half.

First impression, its fun.
Coming from a drama where 1-12 eps nothing happened and the most interesting one is the villain, this one was quite enjoyable.
So far, the fl doesn't feel like a lead character, but everyone else is good with their roles.
Looking forward to the rest of the eps.

JXGZ wrapped successfully~ It'll probably take years but I don't mind as long as this won't be changed into something unrecognizable just to appease censorhip.
For now, glad to have SHL as my last cbl as TYK is one of my faves along with TGCF. For this one, this will be in my ptw list as something to look forward to every year from now on.

Yeah, compared to last I checked to this time... I thought they'd make me root for the leads by now already more than halfway through. No surprise on why those names turned this down. I'll just get back to this once completed to save time. lol

They had the budget (and it'd be news) so they probably thought it was worth a try. But yeah..

Though lately she's in romance dramas but she had done other genres before. Arthdal, which was also tvn-netflix, was KJW's first fantasy too. So you never know.

Short and sweet with the right amount of angst.
But what makes this so good is the sexual tension and amazing chemistry of the leads.
The ost was good too for a webdrama.
Overall, my fave kbl so far.

Maybe the others had high expectations. This is first and foremost a fiction/fusion, not traditional/based on historical events.
As for me, I started this with low expectations, I didn't even finish the webtoon. But I ended up liking all the changes the drama made, like the ironic death of the crown prince, the "consent", esp. the clear ending. And the fl here is the hero that drives the plot. Most fl's are not as privileged, but here she has the higher status and is in a position to be involved in political matters as a crown prince turned king, a rarity in sageuks. The drama is not perfect, like in the lighting department lol, but I still ended up enjoying and finishing it.

I hope you enjoy it too, but even if you don't its still good. I just replied to make sure you don't miss anything just because of the negative comments because the positive ones and reviews are hidden.

Exactly because of that it made me curious about this drama for even daring to offer him the role.
Yes the 2nd leads are doing well. The drama ranked in most buzzworthy mostly because of LJ, and there's been quite a few positive articles of GSY.

I did watch, I'm not basing my opinion from comments alone. But they're there for a reason, and many of them were the same as mine.
And I didn't judge yet, or else I would've rated this already like those that gave it its current "low" rating. You asked, I just answered.

Its the same writer as The Guest, which started good but became repetitive. Seeing the comments, seems like a lot happened but at the same time nothing much. If theres more comments praising the 2ml/villain and ranting about the leads, makes me think about the script/character. Maybe they didn't like it..

There could be other reasons, its just my curiousity on why they turned it down or why the ratings are still low.
