Person Park Mi Hyeon
I was surprised Beyond The Bar was her first drama credit, it's expertly made!

I rewatched the first ep intro and there's a scene from the Bonhee/Mujin gallery date where they're sitting at a cafe and leaning into each other and it looks like they're kissing! And they didn't show this on their date!

If you like the contestants in a shared house and activities concept, you'll like love catcher more than singles inferno, which is more contest focused. I haven't watched the other seasons but the public sentiment is that the Bali one is the best, and I can see why. The concept is great, as in they give monetary incentive for lying, so you don't know who's there for the views or love and the revelations are very dramatic! It's still a game but the group interactions are so fun to watch and at least one couple had killer chemistry. On the minus side, there were many people in their early 20's and it shows. I prefer older contestants cause I can root for them more easily. It has become my comfort show.
If you watch any other good Korean dating show, tell me. I want to watch more but can't find the good ones.

It's near impossible to know what's for the show and what's real but I enjoyed the finale fine. I still don't think So Hyun and Sang Hyeon would ever work after his enraging indecisiveness, and Yeong Gyeong was too good for any of them, but I appreciate the message of "character matters more than age" that this series put forward.

I'm still a Love Catcher In Bali girl, but this comes a close second.

that would be so fun! "nah, none of you are for me. i'm outta here!"
If anyone should say "I'm too good for you" it's So Hyun. Run, girl!

On Ep 10 - honestly, I was (am?) rooting for Bonhee-Mujin to be endgame. But then I saw the Daytime date of So…
I think you spotted something meaninful here. He had a deeper, and more vulverable conversation with So Hyun at the couch scene. But I think it's exactly because he doesn't see her as a romantic option for himself. You know how you can say anything to a friend and not worry about how they see you? On the other hand, when you're flirting with someone you put out your best food forward, and you reveal more as the intimacy deepens. I don't know them personally and we are only watching what we are shown, but this is how I interpreted it.

Having said that, I would wish for a new, more interested crop of men for our girl So Hyun; she's amazing! Accomplished, socially aware, playful and a great person to have around. She made friends but the romantic options were not up to par with her.

Looking forward to the last episode to see if I'm proven right!

She's not clicking with anyone romantically, but Yeong Gyeong, the dentist/SNU alumni/ worldwide volunteer is such an interesting contestant. She wants to learn about the people she's meeting in a deep way and her views on marriage were very well-though out. Plus she's an empathetic person and good friend.
