At the beginning they showed Khem as a character, who is gentle and caring, and who takes action, if necessary.
Only to downgrade him later to a mansel in distress, who plays more or less a sitting duck, while the story revolves around him, instead through him.
I missed the Khem from the beginning during the last parts.

I don’t need necessarily romance in a drama.
I recently watched multiple dramas with none or sparingly existing romance.
My main reason for starting this drama was Zhou Yiran, since he is one of my favorite actors.
But while I like his acting and his chemistry with the fl in this drama, I think I will sit this one out.
I read through the comments below and I got the impression, the storytelling of this drama won’t be my thing even if I keep watching.

I hope, I didn’t dim your enjoyment with the show.

I started episode 5 and until now I don’t know, what the driving plot line of this drama is.
Lots of people and sects, which have obv open or hidden beef with one another, but what is the main plot?

It started a bit slow but it got momentum in the second half.
Loved how they concluded the different storylines.
