I like the open ending, and I interpret it in 3 ways: 1) Li Lian Hua is living secretly somwhere, spending his last days of life peacefully alone, cultivating vegetables and drinking tea. 2) Li Lian Hua is dead, what Fang Duo Bing, Di Fei Sheng and Fox Spirit saw at the beach was just an illusion of their minds, or his spirit, because his body was taken away by the sea, this time for real. 3) Li Lian Hua is still alive and he really went to East Sea to meet Di Fei Sheng, Fang Duo Bing and Fox Spirit, so when we see the beach empty is because they've reunited again and they will embark together on new adventures until the day LLH dies. Honestly, I'm ok with all the 3 possibilities.
Finished this today, I'm gonna miss this drama and our trio a lot. T___T I loved every single moments where LLH, FDB and DFS were together, I enjoyed their adventures and how they resolved all the cases along the way to the big finale. A great wuxia story. For me, Fang Duo Bing and Li Lian Hua are soulmates. <3 I even appreciated how all of the characters, males and females, didn't end up with anyone at the end of the series, a breath of fresh air from the usual forced romance for a drama ending.
I need of more dramas like this in the future. A solid 10 stars from me. <3
I laughed, I cried, I laughed again and I cried again. My favorite scene in the whole movie is when Mao Bang and Wu Ming are sitting near the river with the dog and there's a rainbow in the sky, it was so meaningful and touching. <3 bonus: the pole dance scene was too funny! 😂
I'm the only one surprised they left things like: -FDB's aunt in truth married a woman -JLQ called DFS her wife 👀 I thought with censorship it would be difficult but I'm pleasantly surpised, I'm not complaining at all~
at this point I almost feel sorry for Qiao Wan Mian... Zijin is an idiot obsessed over LXI, he's losing the woman he wanted so much... I just hope at the end they don't force again LLH and QWM relationship, please, they have come to terms they loved each other in the past and now they're just friends.

ep 34: I loved all the actions scenes and I loved Li Xiang Yi lonely drinking sword dance, so poignant.
Cheng Yi is a phenomenal actor, I have become his fan thanks to this drama. <3
