One thing I'm so impressed by BTS is how they automatically just do things, assigning themselves responsibilities to make things work. Like the cooking and cleaning, the division of rooms, considerations during the drives, etc etc etc. I find that so warm and caring. Very generous in volunteering. Very natural companionships. No petty selfish arguements, no distinctions of say older gets the better choice first and younger have to compromise, no claiming the haves and the have nots. I know other kpop bands are caring as well, but most of the times I could only see the ones that are so petty, that they will only contibute to the group if they absolutly have to, such as a punishment in loosing some games.
Another thing about BTS I've noticed hére in 'BTS in the scoop', is that they truly live music. They've been composing, singing, playing intruments throughout this reality show. No other kpop bands immersed themselves authentically into music in their reality shows. However, it's possible that I haven't watched enough kpop reality shows, in that case my apologies.

I think Gameplay looks too nice and gentle to be a mafia (son), or a bodyguard. Jeff may work, but then you'll have to break up JeffGameplay ship. Plus I think Jeff's. body will need some 'buffing up' first. The thing there're already many BL actors with serious six-packs, torso, triceps biceps, etc etc, that can easily fit Kinn/Porsche. Jeff will need to build his body to compete.
I think Joss Wayar makes a perfect Porsche -- unsaturated, good body build, has this sort of mafia/badass vibe…
Luke for Kinn! I know Luke is not a BL actor, I believe Joss only did a little bit as a bi in '3 Will Be Free'. But I really would like to see JossLuke ship. Wonder if they will ever want to step into the BL scenes.

I did not mean Mew being gbp implies G will also be gbp. What I wanted to express was, after reading that a BL actor, Mew in this case, could in fact be gbp in real life, I started thinking about Gulf, and started to wonder if G might be gbp, regardless if Mew's preference is confirmed or not.
So it's my curiosity about Gulf after reading some information. I did not mean that there's a logical deduction, that mew being gbp would imply gulf is gbp.

I'm reading FreshKicks's review above and have a same question I'm curious about. Why are BL fans, including myself, want so much for the Thai BL ships to be real in their real life? The only other area that I see such obsessions is with the Kpop boy bands ships. But I don't even think the Kpop fans have such 'needs' for their idol ships to be real to such extends. So, similar to FK, I'm curious if they are required to market themselves that way. It would be nice to have another documentary that shows deeper issues.
I'm really looking forward to Nani's debut. I like how he presents himself in the interviews to date. In MG, FMZ's love story was the best for me, so I'm hoping Patha will retain the essence of that story for MJ.

To Bright's defence, he's been casted as the main lead 7 times now in just the past 2 years, by various directors for various genres. Also 4 of those MainLeads were before 2gether. So Bright has been recognized as a competent enough actor already, deserving of important roles.
Bright does have a unique and exotic good look, and that is his advantage. In the entertainment industry all over the globe, looking good is one of the important requirements to gain success. It doesn't mean a handsome actor can just be handed the golden globe with under par acting skills, but it does mean that there's nothing unfair about a handsome actor, with competent enough skills, gaining huge amount of success in the industry.

It's not really the cast that's the main problem, it's more the timing when GMM announced the F4 cast that caused problems, at least that's how I saw it.
Thyme is Tsukasa, Ren is Rui, Kavin is Sojiro, and MJ is Akira.
The actors Bright and Win are currently an extremely popular BL couple. They are new to the BL scene. Their first series together was in Feb 2020, titled "2gether". It was very well received until the last few episodes where, in the story, their relationship advanced and they moved in together, but their intimate scenes did not evolve accordingly which disappointed many BLfans. The series ended with a controversy 'high five'. You might want to watch it to understand why it's a concern.
Shortly after, GMM aired a 5 ep sequel special "Still 2gether". This special ended with a very lovely intimate kissing scene between SarTine, charactors of BrightWin. Nothing sexual, nothing dirty. Just intriguing, sweet, and satisfying. The BL fans are happy from that.
However, in less than one week afterwards, GMM announced the F4 cast. In F4, Bright and Win are no longer a BL couple, they will play heterosexual roles. Also, Bright is the main ML, Win is one of the secondary MLs. So that did not sit well with some BrightWin fans.
As a defence for us BL fans, I believe we are all very happy for Bright and Win to have new projects regardless if they are BL or non-BL. Speaking for myself, I believe we fans are all supporters of Bright and Win even if they have other screen partners, or other future directions.
What really upset us was the timing GMM announced the F4 casts, GMM announced it just less than a week after "Still 2gether" ended. Especially with that satisfying note the fans, for months, wished and waited for since "2gether" . To me, it's just thoughtless of GMM.
But I think all the talks will die down, ppl will just watch the series when it airs and critique then.
