Good for you and I'm with you on this. Actually I did not mind the 'high five' at all, and 2g is still one of my favourite series (that's why I put "most" in my comment). But last time when I posted that I liked it, in the middle of people feeling let down, I think I got someone feeling even worst than they already were feeling. So I kind of skipped that part this time. lol. Cheers.

Just a question, dramas with BL as a sub plot, or bromance drama, are those in the BL catergory? Because Winter Begonia, Prison playbook, and The Untamed are over 9.

It's totally understandable that some reviews did not like the 'restrains', which could be perceived as 'not brave enough'. I believe it's more the Korean culture to protect the gay partner from being ridiculed by others, especially when they are still young and are living under the father's 'contol'. So they reframe from admitting their feelings, which in a way they did 'beat around the bush'. However they would consider that as being more 'virtuous' and 'geniune love' than to date in secrect. In such situation, hiding an act is considered 'cowardly', whereas hiding your feelings is considerd 'highly considerate' of the other. There will be people disagreeing with such mentality and will find it frustrating, and view that they are not honouring what is in their hearts. But remember Korea is still not as accepting as other places regarding LGBT+ issues, unlike say Thailand, US, etc.

Just my opinion.

25:15-25:40 This is the skid. I thought Luke played really naturally into the role. Joss actually looked less comfortable than Luke. But Joss has done some bl before in 3 will be free, and he did well there.

If you watch the ep. Luke gets along with everyone and he shoulder hugs them, but very seldom Joss. And it did not look like it's because he dislike him. So I thought maybe they naturally have something, maybe Luke gets 'shy' around Joss??

However, it could just be that Joss is taller and bigger, so Luke can't reach around him comfortably.

I think it's the right thing for him to do to tell HM, so as to not give her any false hope. And it's kind of OK to disclose that to HM since he can tell she already knows. But even with knowing it, she still insisted on going out with him. That's why I think KG was right to tell her honestly.

THJ knows. They both know their feelings for each other. I thnk that's why it's so frustrating for us viewers

KG can't tell/confess, because that will mean they can't be together anymore (because of HTJ's being the sole heir and will be taboo to be gay in korea with his status, the father will separate them probably sent HTJ to england and fire KG, most probably HTJ is expected to marry a high status 'lady' and both families will benefit from the marriage, etc etc)

KG is deliberatly not openly acknowledging his feelings because he knows HTJ can't handle it if KG is gone. He's holding back for HTJ's sake. KG is staying not because of the money he earns from the father, and not because he won't be able to handle without HTJ. He's staying because he's looking out for HTJ. And to do that he has to put the brakes on both their feelings for each other.

finished ep 3. I like it. Thanks. I'm not sure about the charactor ZWH though. It seems he was meant to be a 'acting cute/adorable(? can't find the word)' charactor when he's with JBZ, but strong when he's with others. However, WYY's 'cutness' acting was not convincing. plus the script wrote him as not entirely good in martial arts since he's self learned, so not really the strong guy. Idk, just him doesn't sit well with me. I like the others, esp when JBZ nurses ZSQ wounds.

To reciprocate, there's one I really like, "the sleuth of the ming dynasty". Not only the drmama, I like the OST too. I listen to the opening OST on repeat LOL.
