True i also felt like that. There is no chemistry between ml and fl. They want to show more scenes about sml and fl. After 20th episodes the drama was full messy always showing sml story, fight scenes than ml. And sml and fl got more screen time together but ml got only few minutes screen presence. I really like the first 10 episodes becuase they show more screen time and fight scenes of ml, but he always left alone and doesn't talk much. Its really irritatiing when the drama is based on love triangle. I don't know y the fl agreed to marry sml if she has feelings towards ml and always make him alone. She had several chances to escape from there after torturing and imprisoning her,hadn't she? Also director make ml weak in the last episodes, lost his supreme power, make tongzhou more powerful. If he had demon power he can simply defeat him. In the entire episodes ml was always alone. What annoys me is that the fl treat both ml and sml same showing care, love and concern equally its really frustrating. Why can't she keep a distance from him.

They didn't gave much attention to ml story its fully focused on fl power and story. Its really sad. Why can't they gave both of them equal story, attention and screen presence, always ml left alone it's really sad. If it's a male centric drama they gave fl more screen presnece and story than ml...why every cdrama are like this, really dissapointing.

Why didn't they show the relationship between demon lord and hu jiaping. They can show more scenes of both of them instead of showing the relationship between tongzhou and liefei staying his side hurting ml. She keep both of them. Its really annoying when ml left alone fl got happy moments with her friends, how many times he sacrificed for her keep getting hurt because of her but she didn't show any kind of gratitude or loving towards him. She always blamed him. I don't really like love triangle. There is no chemistry between ml and fl, she doesn't care about him or understand his feelings, always act like a heroine. She doesn't stand or leave with him, afterall all immortal sects are hunting and torturing her she still stand with tongzhou.

In my opinion they dont gave much power to both ml and fl but gave more power to tongzhou and also screen presence. Eventhough ml is demon lord he can't properly use his suprene power and make him weak. He has got supreme power no immortals can withstand his power, still director make him weak when they came to fight with him

Exactly, what was youku doing why they keep delaying.

Hidden Shadow, Blossom of Darkness, and Eternal Fragrance all wrapped filming about three years ago, yet they're still not airing. Instead of finally releasing them, they just keep postponing the release dates over and over again. It's really frustrating for fans who have been waiting for so long.

I am done with youku cutting so many episodes,scenes making the story messy and taking it 3 years to release. Why can't they release the drama after wraping,they keep changing the release date and made this drama messy. And I really miss lei xiayaun.

Tongzhou didn't deserve to live. He made so many mistakes, so letting him live wasn't the right decision. Also, Lei shouldn't have lost his powers. As the Demon Lord, he keeps losing every fight, even though he could have easily killed Tongzhou. I don't understand why the last episodes turned out like that. He's the Demon Lord, but he barely uses any demon powers. After episode 20, the story focuses almost entirely on Tongzhou—his story, his fights, and his bonds. He gets much more screen time than the male lead. He pissed me off after 15th episodes. Why can't he accept the truth that fl loves lei not him. If he has demon lord power he clearly defeat and killed him but director make story messy in the end he loses his supreme power or they can show that he got his power back and simply defeating tongzhou, can't they?

They shouldn't have taken away his Supreme Power. Once he became the Demon Lord, how could he lose his Supreme Power no matter how dangerous the situation was? It just doesn't make sense. The last episodes completely ruined the story. Instead of showing how powerful the Demon Lord truly was, they weakened him for no reason, which made the ending really disappointing.In the last episodes the

What is youku doing always late to drop xianxia dramas😑. I hope this drama is not like eternal fragrance,they cut and edit so many episodes make it look like messy drama. Plz release this drama soon....why is youku taking so long to release it?

Oh almost all chinese dramas are like this focused on fl centric drama,very few dramas are only focused on ml story.

I don't really like him. He get more screen time with fl than ml. He is an annoying character. He used the chance to get close with her and planned to kill ml😐

She actually blamed him. In ep 28 she tells that he caused the death of simo and zhaomin that's why she came to striking him with vines. He doesn't hurt anyone but at the end she hurts him. S
He always protected her but she killed and hurt him. Its rely heartbreaking. They killed so many demons. They tortured and sealed them that's why demons attack immortals.

Fate choose you was worst drama ever. They really degrade ml character but hyping fl.They could have gave him more screen presence and smooth fight scenes, couldn't they? And show only fl scenes and unnecessory characaters.

True why every chinese drama are like this. I have watched quite dramas and they following same concept. In the middle part they forget to show ml screen presence but always show unnecessary characaters. Its okey to show them, but there is a limit. Fl tend to get more screen presnece than ml they don't forget to show her , but if ml doesn't with fl they forget to show him.

But in the end she still betrayed him. She knows everything but act like nothing knows. I don't really like fl she keep giving them hope and really no chemistry between them, always he sacrifices everything for her but what she has done to him?

I don't really like fl character. In ep 28 what she has done to him? He sacrificed everything for her, always risking his life to save her but what she has done to him😑. She planned to kill him with tongzhou. He never wronged her or meant to hurt her. She doesn't deserve him such a heartless girl😡he doesn't kill zhaomin or any other disciples and she blamed it on him😡

I don't understand why directors keep giving female leads this kind of character. Almost every Chinese drama I watch follows the same concept. Either the male lead and female lead should be treated equally, or neither of them should be constantly left alone. It doesn't feel right when only one person keeps getting isolated in every episode.
When I watched the first few episodes, I was happy because I thought this drama would be different. The male lead and female lead weren't constantly arguing like in many other dramas. At first, Tongzhou was the one who cared more about the male lead. But once the he started developing feelings, he kept trying to keep her away from him its really annoying when he left alone suffering, but fl tend to get happy moments with everyone while here ml was suffering because of his love for her. He always sacrifices and tongzhou become third wheel of their relationship. She never clearly told him that she didn't like him, and instead she kept both men emotionally involved. This is the same kind of concept I keep seeing in so many dramas.
