This reminds me of vagabond. Besides the plane lol. The vibe is the same. It’s actionpacked yet completely nonsensical. Logic is not uber-important to me as long as the showrunners doesn’t take it too seriously.
Did Pyonggang not tell her mother what she saw?How can On Dal fight like a boss when he’s been hiding in the…
Ok thanks I get she was afraid since she was a child.
What I meant was, the story would be more compelling had OnDal not been a general’s son, but an actual fool. What makes the folktale unique is that he’s weak and of the lowest class, yet rises up to become a general.
How can On Dal fight like a boss when he’s been hiding in the mountains? Did the blind woman train him lmao? It’d be much cooler to have him be a real fool and turn him into a warrior, like warrior baek dong soo. That would show contrast between him and GJ and stay true to the legend.
The king and Byungin’s treatment of a woman they like is such a contrast. They king is such a healthy person toward others, he is open and communicative and accepts even if he doesn’t understand.. there is no rage or possessiveness.:’))
1. The king has already «died». The queen will mourn him, then he comes back alive. After all that he can’t die again. I think one of the cousins will die instead, if anyone. 2. All the tragedy here seems to be in the middle, not the end. And like mentioned they’re all fakeouts. DH didn’t really die, and the king blew himself up, queen wasn’t poisoned. 3. KJH’s new interview. He said he chose this project to lift up people’s spirits during covid. (aw) I’m guessing he’s not lying.
Happy ending! I’m going to bed now. It’s 1:30..<_<
I think Tae-oh wanted to find his daughter alive, and in the end realized that she wasn’t. Letting go of that guilt and focusing on the people that are alive, like Kut-nim, was his arc.
It’s unlikely he looked for her body for so long, and he probably didn’t abandon her in the end. Besides we basically saw her at the heart of the explosion.

Lee minho is overrated. Much like Lee jong suk imo. They always choose boring "pretty" roles.
