Has anyone noticed that its on short TV and the characters names they are different from what they're names on…
Ok, in short tv or any other app, they tend to "white-washing" the name. In truth, if you understand Chinese, the name they used is Pei Yi and Lin Jiajia. They just changed it to English, so it's easy for them to remember, maybe they think Chinese names are difficult. You see, in western movies, they tend to have difficulties on pronouncing asian names.
Though, I don't agree with this strategy, I prefer when they still use the Chinese names more.
As for titles, yes I'm aware that they sometimes changed the title that somehow far from the translation of Chinese titles. For this one, I don't know, maybe they just want to make it easier for the reader to know the story before watching it. Or perhaps, so the original source of the drama could not track their upload.
Hang on…are you saying that the man who enters the FL body falls for a man? So the soul is male? If that’s…
It would not make sense considering the time they have spent together. If it's like Mr. Queen where they continued engaging with each other, I though it would be okay. But this one, there's not much going on, but he's already like that. Unless he already like the same sex from when he was in modern times, it's hard to imagine...
For now, I'm just going to ignore that FL's soul was a man. 😃

Agree with you! I mean if a man being saved by a man, they would feel like "hey, bro, thanks". But from what I saw, FL seems more flustered(?), like how a girl behaves.
in case you don't mind spoiler.... see next message
Ahh, so that's why I saw another name to her name in the credit scene. I was confused like did she have hidden identity or what... Turns out it's a twin...
As per episode 8, it's quite entertaining. It felt nice, as a modern person, one would really felt awful when…
Yeah, nah, FL really didn't behaves like a man. Which man would rub another man's face with a cloth so tender like that? Except their lover. But FL clearly hasn't had any feelings towards ML for now. 🤔
If you don’t mind, can you please summarise what happened from he was banished to the very last episode. I don’t…
He was attacked, fell off the cliff, and missing. Fifth Prince making things hard for FL. He and his wife found dead body and claim it was ML, and instigated the Emperor to kill FL so she could accompany ML in the afterlife. When he was strangling FL to death, ML came back.
Eventually they married. But during the wedding banquet at night, Fifth Prince's wife attacked them and caused ML to get stabbed with poisoned sword. ML was dying and the only antidote is with her.
They got the antidote, but ML vomited blood and still unconscious. Suddenly FL recalled her "jinx" self that caused misfortune to her previous suitors. She decided to leave ML with hope he would be better after she left. She also wrote a divorce letter.
Turns out the blood that ML vomited was something like residual blood(?) and he was fine after that. But FL was nowhere to be found and ML keep searching for her. They only met again 3 years later.
As per episode 8, it's quite entertaining. It felt nice, as a modern person, one would really felt awful when others facing a death punishment caused by one's own resentment. Truly "I didn't kill Boren, but Boren died because of me". I can't wrap my head with modern people who time travelled but couldn't be bothered with killing. We just want to clear the misunderstandings, but people at that time would just kill, no matter true or not.
The FL is very clear with his boundaries and capable on analyzing the overall situation. He knows which one was truly evil and which one who just got led by the nose.
However, I don't really feel like there is a man's soul in FL's body, it's mostly feels just like she's a tough and capricious woman. And I don't feel like the man really a chauvinist other than when he's in the modern world. Maybe since it's just the beginning. Then, I hope to see more of how his character would grow.
