don't take MDL ratings seriously, good shows end up with 7s or 8s whereas p0rn with NO PLOT shows end up with 9s..

This isn't coming from a place of hate—I was genuinely looking forward to this adaptation. My biggest issue is that it was marketed as an adaptation of an original ABO novel, yet most of the Omegaverse elements were either removed or heavily watered down because they were considered "too complicated." At that point, it no longer feels like the story many readers fell in love with.
Adaptations don't have to be a scene-for-scene copy, and changes are sometimes necessary. But if the core premise is altered to this extent, it ends up feeling like a completely different story. Either embrace the source material or create something original instead of using its name while leaving behind what made it unique.
