that's typical thai... you have to live with it or not watch at all. anything with comedy will have them....
no it isn't. the sound effects are pretty typical in some Thai BLs sure (not all though), don't usually bother me but in this show they are way overused. even ignoring that, the ADD soundtrack is definitely not typical of anything. It's actually insane. they will play one track for 3 seconds before cutting to another one and you can have like 4 different tracks in less than minute.
Why would you think it would be poorly done? You know who the director is, right? 😭
small budget? I don't think so. from what we can see on screen the budget looks pretty solid and they also have a decent number of sponsors. I saw plenty of promotion, including a whole MV from a boyband. I also thought the trailer looked excellent, so I guess we really disagree. 😅

he is also the writer or the show. I mean, that doesn't guarantee the shows is going to be great, obviously, but I'm just curious what made you think it would be poorly done...
A company full of celebrities would know how to portray them in a show. Even Thai actors and Idols do go shopping…
yes, I assume so. Not once was it stated he was contracted as a full time employee to the company. The way the show presented it he was hired for a specific job, very much like a freelancer... then again, Thame and Po's interactions aside, the writing on the show is so wobbly who knows anymore.

what? when did he finish that job?! his job was to make a documentary about the ending of MARS, that would culminate in their very last concert. did that happen? was it cancelled? did the show communicate ANY of these things to the audience?
ThamePo was one of my most anticipated shows since it was announced and it started really strong. I was a bit miffed when the focus moved to reuniting Mars but the the end of episode 6 was so freaking good I was back on board. Episode 7 though... I couldn't be more disappointed. My intense dislike for Jun and whatever it is he thinks is doing aside, the biggest problem is the writing is completely falling apart. Isn't Po supposed to be making a documentary on Mars and, as such, shouldn't he be following them everywhere shooting material? Why does Pepper need to come up with an excuse for Po to be around them? Aren't Mars uber famous, with gigantic billboards plastered all over town? Gosh, one of them is even going to singlehandedly bring the whole TPop industry to the next level... how are they able to just casually go grocery shopping? Or plan and shoot a whole ass MV by themselves? Does the company not have a single employee on them? Security? PAs? The whole thing is so amateurish it doesn't stand to scrutiny whatsoever.
Sorry, I had to vent a bit cause I just am that disappointed.
I haven't given up on the show yet but I have to say the preview for next episode didn't fill me with hope...
I keep watching in the hopes of any Bas or Ngern goodness but I just have to skip most of it. It's SO boooooooring! I've heard of slow burns but my god, if this went any slower it would be going backwards... 😩

Believe me Nu, the glasses were not the problem...
Interesting how breaking his glasses immediately gave him a new haircut as well...
This is so fucking stupid! 😅
Good taste is dead.

there's something to be said about balance...
If they keep this up, this is going to be an all-timer for me!
I'm guessing their episodes are going to go over the story of how they got together, like they're doing with Arc and Arm.
