Overall I think this is quite well adapted from the novel (9.5/10), the villains (Yan Han, Yan Ze, Yan Qi, etc.) stayed the same and got their rightful endings. Novel ending would have taken a 2nd series to cover and I get the re-write might feel rushed but it actually turned out well.

It's to bad they killed off Yan Che/Qin Xiang/Empress in this ending but hey - I'm ok with that 😁

Figured that Prince Sui would be Emperor in re-write and Yan Chi would be regent as that was the best alternate ending from novel.
