I don't remember the exact episode, but right after removing DPJ, he starts thinking about the same thing you…
Ohh really?? That’s such a relief... thanks for letting me know! I honestly thought they made the character hypocritical while still trying to paint him as a saint, and that kinda bothered me. But now that I know it was deliberately written that way to highlight his flaws and convey a deeper message, it makes so much more sense. Honestly, it just shows how strong the writing is. This really puts my mind at ease!
btw off topic, but I'm sooooo proud of our Meng Meng!! he's really good in 'legend of zang hai'.... and in the beginning he gave Xue meng vibes in that drama too! now I can't wait to see him in Immortality!!! ❤️❤️
More like collateral damage. Zang Hai can't predict what those wicked people can do. But he never harm anyone…
I 100% agree it was collateral damage. But if you think about it... his father did steal something he shouldn’t have. So those ‘evil’ people didn’t kill him just for fun... in a way, his death was also collateral damage in their grand scheme. So if Zang Hai’s revenge is considered justified, then so is their massacre. The only credit I’d give Zang Hai is that he’s not deliberately cruel like they were... he's not killing people on purpose.. and at least he shows some remorse... That makes him more human than them, for sure...
After 29th, myself. Think about it like this. If those people were allowed to continue with whatever they had…
Okay, that’s definitely one way to look at it, and it makes sense too. It could’ve been a redeeming point for him, if his motive was the greater good in the grand scheme of things. Like, if he was allowing small sacrifices for the betterment of more people and their future. But his core motive has always been revenge... it’s personal. So even if people end up benefiting from the removal of the culprits, that’s more of a side effect, not the main goal... so in a way, it's still kinda selfish of him to let so many people die for his plan....
ZH would be atmost careful not to harm the weak, he insisted in many eps that he won't drag innocent people ,…
In some cases, I can give him the benefit of the doubt- obviously, he couldn't have predicted the outcome. But in others, his actions were clearly deliberate. For example, when he tried to create a rift between the Marquis and that Cao guy, he knew the Marquis’ birthday banquet would turn into a bloodbath with a wild fight (which he pretty much set up himself)... but he was so desperate to find out who the third person was, he just let everything happen. There could have been better ways to handle it, without dragging so many people into the mess and just focusing on the real culprits...
Hi guys! I just read somewhere that New rumor says HS will air on 30th June now! Of course, we’ve learned not to trust rumors atp… but I still wanted to let you know..
I’m on episode 28, and so far, I’m really loving it! It’s super engaging and interesting... but there’s one thing that’s been bothering me, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you all.
I get that Zang Hai is furious because a few evil people massacred his family, and now he’s out for revenge... which, on the surface, is understandable. But the way he’s going about it… so many innocent people keep dying because of his revenge plan. Servants, soldiers, entire troops, and even some civilians (in early episodes) are caught in the crossfire, and it really unsettles me. It feels kind of hypocritical. His family was killed as a consequence in someone else’s schemes, and now he’s doing the exact same thing to others. Even if he’s not directly killing people himself, he’s absolutely responsible. Aren’t those victims someone’s parents, siblings, or children too?
I don’t know… it just really messes with my head. How do you justify killing so many just to avenge a few?
I love all the one-sleeved costumes, and I hate them at the same time, Yanan was so cold, I wanted to hug him…
Yeah that baby suffered so much in cold!!😭😭 He was shaking so badly… he deserved so many warm hugs... and this time he suffered in heat! poor YA just can’t catch a break 💔
Ohhhh Mimiiiiii I’m not ready for this to end either!! 😭 It’s been such a fun, chaotic journey... I'll remember this and all my little breakdowns with you along the way too haha 🥹 😝💕 there are still few more posts to go....
There’s something so effortlessly striking about these one-sleeve looks 🖤 There’s grace, grit, and a whole lot of charm packed into them. Yan An brings a quiet intensity to every frame ✨ He really has a way of making every costume unforgettable 💫
