Hidden gem, bad ending, but worth watching

I didn't like it at first (like a lot of people, who wrongly gave it up after the first episode) because of it's unfimiliar form of thai BL. HOWEVER after watching 2-3 episodes, you get used to it and you can enjoy normally.
DON'T GIVE IT UP.

The actors were just amazing. Diao was so well played! He really reminded me of a small dog, and it was so cute to watch his reactions! The chemistry between them was cute, more spice was in the lastest episodes.

I don't know how about other people, but it was pretty funny to me and my mood was definitely better after wtaching this.I Guess it depends on your type of humor. Sitcoms aren't really for everyone. It reminded me of old times, when watching shows like iCarly od Sam&Cat, it was really nostalgic and comforting for me. The old vibe of a sitcom with a BL story? Oh, yeah I'm in.

But I still have a few negative things to say about this show. Besides it's being very funny and mood-lifting it lacked some action and spice. I had a feeling of going in circles. This is definitely a slow burn romance, but bruh, that slow? I'm excpecting season 2, because if there won't be any it's going to be a lot of points down. I feel like it was cut in the middle. There is so much to say about their story! And it's in comforting and funny sitcom form. It's perfect for a bad day, when you just want to watch something light. Let's be honest, the ending was bad. It didn't gave me the feeling of tension or something, like it should be when the series is over with the intention of a continuation. It was just... dull? I'm not pleased with it and it made me anxious. I don't know if there will be season 2, I'm not well-informed about this, but I hope it will see the light of day...

Yes, there was indeed a little bit too much of the sound effects, but yeah, you get used to them and forget about them.

The music was meh, but acceptable. It's a sitcom so I'm not expecting any music masterpiece.

So in a conclusion - watch it, don't give up and enjoy it's unusual form! AND HOPE FOR SEASON 2!

Definitely innocent and cute, has it's minuses

I had to watch this series two times to enjoy it fully.
First time I watched it I thought it was cute and all but nothing really special. But it was only because I was new to lakorns.

Now I've seen it second time I think this is really adorable and wholesome. I got the chance to analyze it again and this time do it properly.

Let's start with something light. The music is great, and the fact that the band is a real thing is giving more vibe to whole series. Thanks to this there is a lot of songs played and not just a few or even just one. BL series usually don't have any advanced soundtracks. It is definitely a big plus. The band had songs with matching vibe to the whole series.

The chemistry between actors is cute and conversations don't feel awkward. However, there is one big BUT. Their conversations and little touches may be cute and adorable, BUT... there is a lack of physical touch. There are indeed a few kisses, but they ain't it. I know that physical things are hard to do and for actors it may be uncomfortable, but you know... The series would be a lot better with just a little bit more. It's not that there are tons of horny fans who want to see them do weird things, but without these the relationship often feels forced. They tried to bring in more of this content, like the bouqet of condoms (which was kinda awkward), but it would never be enough to get the realationship to be more real. You want it or not, physical touch is needed.

Whole plot was very adorable, apart from this lack of touch it was enjoyable and comforting. It is a very well-written series with funny moments and a lot of plot twists. Well, unfortunately there is another BUT...
I enjoyed it ALMOST all the time through the series. But there was just one big mess at the end. I know the things with trust are sometimes needed to show that it's not easy to be in a relationship yet it was just SO HARD to watch this whole fuss about lack of trust and... Let's just say it is a part of this series where you have to endure it. Almost every series have this moments when it's uncomfortable to watch, so ... It started very strong and gave a very good impression yet they just can't add useless drama at the end to just make it more "interesting" some series are just meant to go without any trust issues and all. Since Tine and Sarawat were both innocent it doesn't make sense with this illogicaly large jealousy. I had to skip the last 3 episodes to just see the happy end and not stress myself f watching them.

I like this series very much, but after seeing A LOT of BL lakorns I must say, it had great potential, but could be done better. Of course I recommend watching it and creating your own opinion, becuse it's seriously great at the beggining. I guess it's good to see it when you haven't seen a lot of series yet and you don't have big experience.

good at the beginning, annoying at the end

I will keep this short, because there's really not much to say about this. It's not an extraordinary story, rather boring , but it is interesting when almost everyone of us lived a very fimilliar livestyle not too long ago. Seeing people struggle and deal with the same problems as us is engaging. I actually higly respect the directors for filming it in the middle of pandemic, so I will not stick to it.

I won't talk about the production quality, because it is indeed a series filmed in the times of covid and it's actually very impressive they managed to do this, so let's skip that part just as an excpetion.

Meanwhile it was nice for like 6-7 episodes, I got bored in the rest of the series. Mostly because of the contsant drama and really unstable relationship. It was kinda like a circle. They argue, they make up, then they argue, make up and so on and on. I was tired emotionally at the end.

The characters were well written and charming, but sometimes it was too much for me. The actors did a nice job, you can see that they are commited.

I probably won't watch it again, because it was simply too boring for me, but I think it is worth trying and creating your own opinion, since a lot of people liked it's simpliness :)

Beautiful and uniqe

It will be short and I will go straight to the point.
I was scepcital about this series. Thought it was something boring and short for one evening. Turned out it's one of the best series I've ever seen.

Let me say this: Don't give up after the first episode. I know it's confusing and you may think it's just a low production series with very weird plot, but I promise, it gets better and everything makes sense at the end.

I loved the story, it moved me to tears. If you pay attention to details, you won't be very confused, because there's a lot of things that wasn't said out loud and you had to detect it during the show. I can't say it's a show for everyone, some may not like it's outstanding form, very different from typical thai series but it's definitely worth watching. It may be a low-budget production with little technical flaws in some moments, but overall it's a well done series with stunning views and shots. It has great vibe and atmosphere, very calming and comforting.

The cast is wonderful and has gorgeous chemistry. Their little touches, looks, smiles, it all matters. I just loved this combination and the tension between them.

I think the music was fitting and outstanding too. It prfectly reflected the mood of the series and it felt magical.

I loved everything about this and it has a great potential. I highly recommend.

Frustrating! Wasted potential

First of all, I have read the manhwa before and I was kinda hoping that this series would be better. I didn't really remember, why I didn't like it, but this show reminded me why. I'm going to be really critical about this because oh boi, I just used my whole energry to watch it and I'm highly disappointed.

Let me tell you at the beginning, it's not the directors or production fault, because this plot is just bad in general... But it doesn't change the fact that they choose to produce something so unlikeble. You can see, that besides the show having extremely frustrating plot, they had too little time, which made everything only worse and worse. Important moments were treated like they were just normal situations and it felt hella weird to see that. I don't know if it's the actors fault, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that everything was just sped up. Like they rushed things too much. It felt more like I was watching a very long trailer to a bigger series. It's good in the beggining but later on it kinda felt like going in circles and the plot and all enthusiasm just went somewhere else.

As I said the acting was just fine. Nothing very special or outstanding. You can feel a little commitment but it's still not enough to make a remarkable series. Seon Ho definitely reminded me of the character in the manhwa, but as for Mu Yeong it kinda didn't click for me. I know that it suposed to be like that, but since it's a live-action and not 2D, outside apparence is a little bit more important and let me tell you, the characters had absoultely no chemistry and they didn't fit together. I don't know if it's the actors having a bad relationship, or they were told to act this way, but it just came out very bad. Separately as the characters they were fine, but since this is a BL and the chemistry is basically the most important thing I must say they messed it up. And the kisses were so awkward! Like, I know that maybe BL is not such a popular genre in Korea like in Thailand and it's not a typical thing to actors, but unfortunately I can't defend them this time. They used a camera angle a few times, so it means that they didn't really wanted to kiss for real and you know... sometimes it only makes it worse for already bad plot. LIKE BRUH ... I WAS FEELING SO AWKWARD WATCHING THEM KISS...

The music didn't stand out. After I finished watching I realised I didn't notice any of the music, because the soundtrack is so basic it doesn't stand out or catch the watcher attention. Sometimes it's a good method, but not in a series like this! They surely could use some emotional music to spice things up, even a little, but no... I always pay a lot of attention to music since I'm really passionate about it, but this time I heard only my screams of frustration.

Sometimes the shots were nice and pretty, but still nothing really outstanding or professional. Again, they could use them for the atmosphere, yet they wasted another chance for making this better. AND OH MY GOD THE CONFESSION SCENE... I know everybody noticed that Seon Ho was looking in another direction, like, BRUH I CRIED... Where are you looking?! At His chest, eyes or the wall?! This scene made me so mad and anxious. And there were a lot of simillar shots, maybe not so noticale as this one, but just the fact that it's a common mistake is not making it any better.

Of cousre I don't have only bad things to say about this show. There are indeed a few good points (suprisingly). I liked that the characters were visually correct and even had the same hair as the characters in the manhwa. That suprised me since it's not a common thing. And you know... they didn't change much about the plot which is usually good but... well... just not in this case.

To sum it all up: It had the potenial, but they just didn't take the chance to create something good and created something... yup, definitely something...
I don't really recommend this series becuase belive me, it is very frustrating and it took my will to live D :

Really good, deep series with meaning, showed Torn in wrong light

Okay, so I don't really write reviews but I think this one needs it. First of all I enjoyed this series very much, it's very high quality and is overall beautiful. The side stories were fine, not as interesting to me, but it's okay since it kept the feeling of tension what's going to happen in the main plot, so I'm not going to talk about them much.

What suprised me was that they actually took care of the problem, that Torn was terribly mistreated. Well, maybe it didn't end in the way it should but I think the right way would make people hate Torn and be really mad that they didn't end up together. But I'm suprised they didn't just ignore the fact that Torn always made what others wanted him to do. We see it since the begining, where Fah actually FORGOT about his best friend just because he wasn't his partner anymore. There were many moments like that and Torn was never mad (most like for 5 minutes), he was calm, supporting, Meanwhile Fah didn't really see his mistakes, kind of anegoist.

So when the moment came, where Torn finally decided to do what he wanted I was so happy for him! Fah was just a toxic. I'm not suprised that Torn was so angry... MAN I would be angry already since the begining, because Fah was just so horrible. AND everyone was treating him like he was in his wrongs. DUDE, this series made him look like he was doing something bad when in reality he made a smart decision. I'm kinda angry about how they didn't explain to others why actally Torn had many reasons to hate them and just made Torn apologize (even tho no one ever apologized to him lol and he was the one that needed it the most). They kept silent about the case (I mean Torn didn't say anything about it), that Torn was mistreated ny Fah, but it's something we can read from his actions and see for ourselfs. It wasn't really something said out loud. I think it added some fine self reflection to the series.

I think they kinda made Torn the villain at the end and didn't point it out that he was just too good for Fah AND WASN'T WRONG FOR GETTING MAD LIKE CRAZY. But I know that if it wasn't done Torn's anger would never end and the show would just end with not really a perfect ending, that everyone always want. So I understand. We see that coach Tuan wasn't really that bad of a person either. I mean, he had his controversial ways, but he helped Torn get better. I suppose if Torn said to Fah all the things he did to him, Fah would't understand and it would broke their relationship. Since Torn loved Fah very deeply he never said anything and I must say it almost made me cry.

In conclusion, this series made me feel A LOT. And I'm not mad about it. It's great because of it's depth and quiet problems we face that destroy us inside slowly. Some people are mad about the time-skip but I think it was needed. Torn needed it to finally stand up for himself.

Shortly about the side stories. I liked that Vee was RESONABLE person and didn't give in to his desires. Respect, man.
The story about Aii and Saen was just boring. I mean it was sweet but kinda shallow? It definitely lacked something... well I didn't mind it since I was too emotional about the main plot.

I recommend this series, however for emotional people it will be hard experience (like for me) but its definitely worth it.

In love with this series

Kinnporsche is definitely my one of favorite thai dramas, I think it's one of the best in the history of thai BL dramas. It cointains everything: good music, good-looking actors, good acting, perfect lighting, sweet chemistry and good quaility and it's something different than just another university stories. Of course it has it's flaws, but they are small and they don't ruin the greateness of this series.

So first of all I think the drama is a bit better than the novel. Of course I'm not saying the novel is bad, I love both the drama and the novel but they are for sure different. The novel is harsh, sometimes it was too rough for me. Meanwhile the drama is comforting and calming. I adore the chemistry between actors. Especially Nattawin's acting, it was sooo good and he fits the role of Porsche very well.
Even if the relationship between Kinn and Porsche was rather tense at first, it didn't trigger my emotions like it did the novel. When I was reading the novel I often felt very annoyed with their constant bickering and conversations, but in the drama it just felt more natural, maybe because of well played emotions. As I mentioned, the chemistry between Kinn and Porsche is very sweet. The scenes are emotional and it shows the love between characters very well.

There were all kinds of actors in this series. You can see that some of them were much more experienced and some of them less. If you won't pay much attention to it you can't really see the flaws in some roles. But the main roles such as Porsche, Kinn, Vegas and Pete were well played by the actors and I think the cast was just amazing.

THE. MUSIC. OH. MY GOD.
I must say something about this work of art. The music is just fantastic, everyone knows that the music plays a huge role and this time it was just so well made I must bow and pay respect.
"Free fall" is just a freakin' masterpiece, Slot Machine did a really great job. I loved this song the first time I heard it. And the instrumental version? Oh my god. It's just perfect. It's beautiful both in thai and english.
"Why don't you stay", same feelings, masterpiece created for this series.
I was so amazed by the soundtrack, it wasn't just the same song over and over as it usually happens in BL dramas.

So about the flaws of this series. The first flaw is that they didn't give any hints for the plot at the beginning. In the novel you can see from the start that Korn knows something about Porsche. Meanwhile in the drama everything that happens at the end seems very random because there wasn't anything said about it, especially the part with his mother. But you know, you can connect everything at the end eventually so it's not a very bad flaw.
The second flaw is that I think Pete was showed too little before his own story with Vegas, because later it just seems like the side character just got an update to being a main character when in reality he was one of the main charactes all along since the beginning.

So overall it's a very well made adaptation of a great novel with an amazing an uniqe story. They did a phenomenal job and I'm loving this series very much. It will stay in my heart forever and I definitely recommend it.
