Guys I have a small doubt in ep 10 the mother hinted that ml is more similar to the dead chairman than his own son and grandson indicating that ml might be the chairman's biological son through an affair which he hid from everyone. so that makes the ml and baek eui yong(chairman's son)half brothers then why did the dna report show that they are not related they should share atleast some percentage of dna because both have same father (diff mothers) . And I don't think it will be easy to recreate those scenes anyway (technical difficulties and censorship) the novel was more along the serious concept of demons cultivation and severe yandere ,siscon romance develops very gradually and not the main focus in the first half but boy the second half is different it becomes all about mu Sheng and miao miao's love story
As far as I remember there wasn't any mention of tiers in the novel but I can tell u that he is stronger than the resentful woman but they are not following the novel closely only few important bits so only the background story and characters are same everything else they are changing

I finished this novel when the show was announced and i agree with most of what you said but after a certain point she stops doing that and they become the best part of the novel and trust me it's worth the wait but for me I love the novel more because it had more depth and i felt i understood and felt for the characters more but they had to change because originally mu Sheng has romantic feelings towards mu yao which won't pass Chinese censorship and he is lot more dark in the novel but once his feelings turn towards miao miao the story becomes awesome
His mom comes from a really strong demon clan they r succubus demons as far as I remember and females are usually stronger in their race but due to mu sheng's half human nature he becomes very strong at the end of the novel more than anyone else from his clan i forgot the reason sorry 😅 it's explained clearly in the novel
Actually what happens is the brother runs to a remote town to avoid family pressure mets mu sheng's newly transformed (to human) mom thinks she is a pure innocent woman (which she is)and marries her as matter of course the dowager finds about it asks her brother to come to the capital and tells him that she is a demon and hid it from him (my memory is vague at this part )but this causes a clash between them he leaves her goes back to the capital .mu sheng's mom now finds that she is pregnant and all the neighbourhood men try to get with her because she doesn't have a husband it is very sad at this part. Now about his dad after going back to the capital he realises his mistake and tries to return to her only to get into an accident and loses his memory so the dowager taking advantage marries him to another woman whom he doesn't like but doesn't know y he is constantly unhappy and i think he dies i don't remember well

Mu sheng's bio dad is dowagers brother hence she can spot the resemblance and mu sheng's mom is a demon theirs is a very sad and beautiful story I hope they show it in the drama
