He saw the police coming frm d window so he knew. Secondly, he wanted her to let go of him n think tht he was a criminal. U cn see in the last scene she was convinced that he was a bad guy. But i undrstnd directors dint make it clear enough , Japanese directors leave so much room fr interpretation its in their habit that they dnt make things clear. Some may love or some may hate it. Its their style, if u have watched enough Jmovies or anime u wud know. So much symbolism n unanswerd questions may frustrate some who r tired n hve no time to intrpret.

The plot was so good that m sad that they dint put any effort to explain things In a better way,make it more emotional n extend the series bcz ambience was good, acting n chemistry were all too good.This had a scope to be a long series.They really do take BL fr granted .
