In the end of the novel, it is explained that he saw child li susu taking out corpse of her brother (ding Wei) when noone dared to challange Deming king. When he knew that immortals were sending the same women to mortal realm 500 years ago, he said to himself that "will she save me the way she tried to save her brother". Moreover in that timeline when he met little li susu he had never encountered her until then. Her bravery caught his attention and he wanted to see how will she change his life. And after li susu accomplished her task future changed and everyone who were dead were present in immortal sect.
I have seen on twitter that there are some melons going around that she will be shooting one more historical drama gong yu( name could be wrong though) and one modern drama. But not sure if these melons are confirmed or not.
also I hope they don't ruin my favorite scene of her sacrificing herself and falling of the bridge.
At least I am confident that they won't ruin that scene. The major concern for me is that if they will show tantaijin with such a dark shade. He was brutal in the mortal realm. Can they add all the elements of brutality instead of making us sympathize to him at least in mortal realm since he was a in born psychopath.
The relationship between magician and yun ai is like mentor and student and he was guiding her to be a free spirit and to take a break from the harsh reality but his character himself was shady and a bit dark. While for Na ll deung and yun ai they were classmates and he saw her as one of his competitors and he was a bit jealous of her. His ambition and path was clear until he met magician and realised that his life was really messed up and was set within the boundaries set by society and tries to modify himself. All three characters are great in themselves and I hope they remain true to the theme.
