The trailer is really disappointing for me due to the loud music they have put it into this one. I was a fan of webtoon because of the dark shade they showed about life and how everything was least bright and dull.
And here I just saw loud music and way too bright trailer. I just hope they don't disappoint with the drama because Netflix shows everything way too bright and the webtoon is completely opposite of that.
Just by looking at trailer I feel so sad since I was anticipating the drama since last year. Sorry I had to rant because I love that webtoon.
Last time the drama adaptation of webtoon nevertheless was really disappointing for me. If they can't put the essence of the webtoon they should rather avoid making it into drama.
Though I will try few episodes and I sincerely hope it will change my opinion.

I used to compare TTJ with Li Cheng yin sometimes. Especially the part where TTJ used her to kill xiao lin and Li chengyin killed her master so that they could be together.
If you will see that his obsession for ye xiwu led to her death and he remained alone for the remaining 500 years cultivating and in search of her soul.
And happy ending was definitely a fan service but i didn't feel bad for li chengyin in last few episodes but TTJ was shown transforming completely after mortal realm and destroyed himself for peace.

Costume drama from them would be my ultimate wish. Yibo's ancient looks gives cold aura which i really like.

I commented few days back that I wanted to see bai jing ting and Bailu after watching reset and here I am getting contents already. Bailu promoting good bai (bai jing ting's brand) and he followed bailu.

But mortal realm is really painful for ye xiwu.

Throughout the mortal realm, you will hate him more and more. Even when I was reading the novel, initially I felt that he wanted everything from xiao lin. But later he became obsessed with her. That would never be called love because anyhow he wanted her to be his side.
Many people felt that he didn't deserve happy ending.
I don't want to spoil much you can discuss about the ending later 😅

If tiger will be added it will be added by VFX team later. But since it is reduced to 40 episodes only I think they will reduce many subplots which won't affect the main plot itself.

I feel I need to rewatch this. I am missing them so much.
