I'm more into harem battle type lol because it's kinda exhausting yet satisfying (?) Is there probably any scheming things in this show? I would likely to check this one out but maybe all schemes and plot more likely being uncovered after tons of eps, right?

I'm sorry, I don't know CDramas as much as KDramas that's why I take rating as my guide. A lot of people recommend me NiF and it's turns out the rating quite high too, it was the best drama I watched so far. I heard many people like The Untamed too so I'd like to checked this show on MDL and kinda surprised knowing the rating is higher than NiF.

Overall the show is good despite skipped the romance parts (rarely been a fan of romance), but I had a good laugh while watching I never been amused in C-Dramas humour before. I watched Secrets of Three Kingdoms, thought it was full of schemes but it wasn't so I dropped it. So far I enjoyed NiF and Yanxi the most.
Why C-Dramas tend to make the same couple several times? It's not like I'm complaining, NieYuan-WuJinyan chemistry are crazyyy but I'm just curious. It's so rare in K-Dramas for doing it so. But I kinda like it, hope they'll starred together as couple again in future.
