The thing is: I started the whole drama for the romance and I kept watching for the romance so that whole last scene ruined it for me. But you're completely right about potato boy. I just really hope the screenwriters at least saw that. This would have been one of my favourite dramas and somewhere in the drama the sudden character development of jae eon really gave me hope
So, before my Review I just want to make clear that I already know that I make bad choices in Life but still: I was rooting for Park Jae Eon throughout the whole series. Does he seem like somebody you can have an honest and committed relationship with? No. But that was never the point. He never forced her into anything and still seemed like he really cared about her in his messed up way. And in my opinion potato Boy never was the better option. He doesn't seem ready for a relationship at all and may be a bit too obsessed with her. Now the last scene in Episode 9 really ruined this whole drama. The drama says romance in his Tags and I was hoping it would be one of those happy ends where fl and ml just live happily ever after and now this... Getting back together would make her seem weak but it is clear that Jae Eon actually cares and just doesn't know to handle it. So, whatever will happen in the end I don't think I will be happy with any of the possibilities
I am just in Episode 8 rn so maybe it's gonna get explained further in the drama but was the nuclear war just in Korea or the whole World. Because Sun should have Left the country to 'survive' but on the other Hand they say everybody died

Sure. I am really bad at summaries but let's try. He is an orphan, grew up in Haesan (like the FL), has a scar on his shoulder (as well as the FL so I guess there's a connection) and he definitely didn't kill the girl from the beginning. On top of that he has an eidetic memory - but I think you already know that. The reason for his problematic character is probably his childhood and growing up in an orphanage. What he did to Seung Ah was the worst thing he could do but at the moment he seems like he has changed for the better and I am in love with their relationship. But that's all I know right now. I promise he gets better and to be honest it's still hard to understand him but I am brainwashed by the actor so no going back for me.
I basically had zero expectations when I saw the cast because most of it was Idols but damn. I did not think I would enjoy the storyline so much. One Episode per week is not enough
I really like this drama but after reflecting it's just because I am a sucker for romance. Because understanding why these characters act how they act is just impossible. Why did his first love leave him and go to the other guy if she still wanted him? Then why the fuck did she turn into a whole anti fan like this? Even the way she was hating was questionable. But still. The romance is cute. And the manager is a must love.
