I think we just got 4 episodes. They already compile full series from ep. 1 to 4. This is my second series from Nooto after My Stepbrother is My Favourite Novelist. So, this is typical length from them, 4 episodes, less than 30 minutes overall. I think, I like this show, a little bit better than previous one. Kawahara just too cute and look clumsy, contrast with his work as security personnel. He even panic when power outaged happen. I think, he's the one who should be protected, not protecting. So kawai! I just hope little more scenes. Maybe just another one episode, like there are intrusion and Kawahara got arrested by the intruder. Then, his Minato-senpai heroically will save him. That really provide better situation for them to convey each other feelings. But, I know this is just 'bite-size' show, so I'm okay with current setup. I watched several other shows like this from Japan, Korea and Thailand. So, I'm comparing with other show with same genre and setup. Overall, as a web series, I think this show is good, I give 8.0, if there are more episode(s) as suggested, then could be 8.5. I'm welcoming if they have any plan to extend this show in the future. Also recommending Nooto to have more shows with English subtitles for wider reach.
I'm just start with ep.1. Looking good but really got afraid when reading comments. Not just feel complicated, but I'm knowing this show through Kai and he's the reason why I'm looking into this show. But if his character didn't last well (if I haven't misunderstood comments below), then there are not much reason for me to stay. Will put this on-hold for now and will wait for final episode, look if I could accept the ending and from there to decide if I will continue again. I'm never doing like this but maybe this is only way for me to decide.
I thought S2 maybe months from now or next year. Somehow when checking YT, it's already available. I'm still not ready to watch any full fledge series now, so this light series is good for me. For me, their amateurness and low budget not disadvantages, but another way around. Simply no expectation thus I could watch it naturally.
I saw videos of reverse role of DuangQinn on social media. Prior to this, not even in my mind, I will feel interested about his kind of setup, but I think TeeTeePor just nailed it perfectly. I'm keen to watch if they want to try this setup for next project although I'm really fine with the current one. Also, can we have TongPae @ TheeWave? I'm trying not to go deeper as they're unofficial, but my social media feeds doesn't give cooperation ðŸ˜
Finally, I'm done. If not mistake, this is first series I watch from Domundi even heard about them years ago. First, as I said in my previous comments, this series is unique. Maybe I'm feel like that because I'm start watching this kind of genre since 2017 and the last time for full fledge Thai series back to 2019, couldn't help myself from watch this series from 'old school' perspective. But I think that's how the uniqueness come from, for myself. My mind always want to determine "what 'position' they take in the relationship" especially between Duang and Qinn. Even that also shaping my view towards TeeTee and Por as well. I'm good with this settings as from what I can see, they're compatible. Second, Duang's energy especially during early episodes are something that I didn't found on any other series that I had watched. It's parallel with his upbringing in a cheerful family. In contrast, Qinn's icy attitude really contra with Duang's energy and make storyline feel quite slow-burn which also my cup of tea. Really understand his feelings for feel lonely as his parents always not with him. His old love story also just add more salt to the wound of his loneliness. As nowadays I'm prefer 'lighter and simpler' show, thus feel hesitate at first as my old soul unable to bear heaviness of feelings. That's what I'm feel about Qinn's past love story and also his childhood trauma. These two issues are heaviest parts for me. Yet, the storyline pinned it well to potrays strength of Qinn and Duang relationship. Like when Duang say he trust Qinn won't return to Tiw, and Qinn also didn't have any thoughts to return to Tiw, I think that's perfect with reality and rationality. I'm also appreaciate this series with compatible multi-talented casts. I think this is the most extensive series which casts also sing many songs. Really admiring Por for his talents, not just acting but also singing, for TeeTee as well, great acting and sing well also. I think it's rare to have a pair and both of them are multi-talented. There are many good songs in this show but I like 'Found' the most. Furthermore, I didn't feel distrupted with focus on side couple, Jamie and Marvis, instead feel it's delighted. Not always but several times, I didn't keen much on focus towards other pairs aside than the main pair, maybe due to past experiences. But when feel side pairs didn't annoyed me, for me that's indicator that the storyline and maybe casts selection just perfect. Now, shortages or weaknesess part. Didn't have much to say, but for excitement, around 90-95%. Well, I can't do anything to make it 100% because it's come naturally. I'm laugh, smile, also feel emotional during tense scenes, but just no monologue of chanting like "Go! Go! Go to chase your love" or beating my pillow or mattress because of giggling (imagine a guy in 30's doing that 🤣). I'm rare to be in line with majority, so it's make me worried a bit on how to set expectation toward this series despite its ratings already 9.0 when I start watching, but for this series, I could say I'm in line, just about 10% off. For hope, I think this show should become catalyse for many more TeeTeePor's future collaborations. I didn't know their past works or even themselves previously, but from this series, they are good together. I'm start following them on IG, meaning I'm looking for their next developments and more collaborations for a longer time. Another hope, I think this is quite significant for me, to have TongPae aka TheeWave. Well, at first want to put this on weaknesses as it's pitiful for didn't much interaction in the series despite from earlier episodes, they're the earliest to have interactions, even prior to DuangQinn and JamieMarvis. Even if TongPae got same weightage as JamieMarvis along the storyline, I'm delight. But make this as a hope as I think there are potential for future collaborations. Don't know Domundi's plan but they already make an offer for Thee to join them, so it's on Thee's side to determine. I'm respecting any decision as there are many things need to be consider. Yet, I'm thanking to Thee because I get know this series through him, knowing and following him since 2023, also feel special a bit as his birthday date same with me, just I'm 11 years older 🫢. So, that's why I'm a bit bias for TheeWave than Wave with other person. Haha! I thinks that's all. For now, I give this show rarely 'interim rating' of 9.0 with potential to upgrade in the future, if I think it's good to do so, as I'm still unable to make up my mind for final rating.
While still ongoing watching but there are already outcome for me. Since my first series, I'm learning about Thai cuisines through those series and even cook it by myself. Although just neighbouring to Thailand, but here it's always tom yum as most popular Thai dish, akin to sushi for Japanese dish. But from those series, from Nom Yen (2 Moons) to Pad Krapao (TharnType) then here shrimp stir fry with garlic. So, add more recipe to my cookbook.
i just made a personality quiz to know who you are in Love of Silom https://uquiz.com/JeFUFAyou can give me feedbacks…
I got Krit. Haha! Not start watch this series yet, so don't know how Krit it is. But for Up, I think some similarities like same age and background of education.
Just finish rewatch today, but excited like first time. Even some scenes like "oh... why like I'm never watch this before?". Tomorrow they will start sell blue-ray box, but it's undeniable that I'm hoping for S2 announcement also. Today also, DXTEEN released acoustic version of Mutual Love. Hear that, make me want to cry, like hoping endless story of them.
Just reached ep.5 but searching why it's 'TeeTeePor' than 'PorTeeTee' because there are discussion about that on ep.4. From that, I think I got the answer but also make me feel so old as I'm thinking "there are a lot of things have changed" since last time I'm engaged with full fledged Thai BL series. No wonder, last time was TharnType back to 2019 and next year will be 10th year since first time watch this kind of genre. Even this series has uniqueness that maybe I didn't found from previous series that I watched. Just searching a bit about them but their related contents already 'colonising' my timeline. I just afraid got spoilers before I watch those scenes or episodes.
The first time the ending trailer plays, there's a "rewind" and you see the scene of what happened and…
Thanks for suggestion. Will relook at that. Because it's at the very end of the show, so maybe my mind at that time already in 'conclusion mood', just about to wrap up everything. So despite watched the scene, but missed the detail.
My last comment when the upcoming episode was ep.7, about my intention to watch this series, And today, finally... watched ep.1. Haha! So far so good, will look how it will progress. Oh... also learn that creator of this story also same with Only Boo! which also in my plan to watch list. So maybe will watch it subsequently or concurrently with this show.
The first time the ending trailer plays, there's a "rewind" and you see the scene of what happened and…
I watched it but still unable to comprehend. That's why I ask did he trick or persuade them (that he could help them make more money)? I didn't write in full to avoid spoiler.
A bit confusing with the ending. Did Chusan persuade or trick Fei Qi's subordinates to release him? Btw, overall, I think the show is good. I know from the beginning, with gangster elements there, will be a bit hard for me to understand. The structures and interactions on how those gangs operate, there are a lot of names but I didn't know how those names are related. Still not too hard to understand overall storylines, fortunately they not skew too much from Liuyi and Chusan. I just focus much on them, that preserve much of my understanding about this show. Opening and ending OST also good. It's worth to be on playlist. But obviously, based on the ending, I think the production show their intention for S2. I hope it's really like that and everything will go smooth. Also, if there are S2, focus on Liuyi and Chusan will continue, maybe after Liuyi released and try to rebuild his life without gangster's world with help from Chusan. About 2nd pair, I'm more favour to keep them as 2nd pair or if want to focus much on them, then spin-off show. Touch a bit about Chang Xi and Yan Zhao interactions outside the series, really nice to see despite keep reminding myself "I'm no longer do that (shipping). I'm not young anymore". Haha! Also while look like this series help them become more popular, but hopefully not at the expense of the calmness of their life. Well, I'm looking for next developments. Hope there will be good news.
Well, I think it's done. Actually, this is second series I watched from the studio. The first one is My Key Chain, a few years ago. I enjoy their shows, although seem amateur and low budget, but it's not bad. Somehow, I'm prefer this kind of show than from certain big names of production, maybe suit with my age now. When new episode release, can just casually watch it without feeling heavy or lazy. It's relax, not intense, didn't have any expectation, just watch it 'organically' like our own real life.
First, I'm feel funny. That's easiest and common feeling to have for short series. Then, I'm feel Yoon Su got bullied. But from then, everything just escalated to something that I didn't expect for short series especially 'those scenes'. Even some full series didn't have that. Feel like POV of Yoon Su when he watch 'that kind of stuff' from his phone and laptop. I think it's worth to watch. At first just want to give 7.0, but feel it's okay for 7.5 as well. For improvements, I think they should add more expressions, either facial or tonal. But more than that, really recommending for at least another one episode, just to show finally Yoon Su move out and stay together with Ha Jin. I think that's good conclusion for the show.
I think, I like this show, a little bit better than previous one. Kawahara just too cute and look clumsy, contrast with his work as security personnel. He even panic when power outaged happen. I think, he's the one who should be protected, not protecting. So kawai!
