hi. If I remember correctly, the first 6 episodes are “four years ago” in school.

i just finished watching the series and i am impressed. i checked out the comments here beforehand and i can understand why some people quit at the first few episodes because of the student-teacher relationship. it was not a relationship in a romantic way. but that was important to the story. i found the story intelligent and heartwarming in many ways ... Family, expectations of our loved ones and of ourselves - this was all the basis and lesson in the series. and all wrapped up in maths.

I found the life lessons combined with maths encouraging and they often made me reflect. the acting was top-notch, except for the FL ... she was like a stone to me (haha, it was not intentional), absolutely emotionless, empty and somehow her appearance didn't fit into the whole story. the other actors, especially Lee Do Hyun, made up for her weaknesses though. i often had to pull myself together to continue watching the series because i was annoyed by the choice of the FL.

it was a true drama at its best - highs and lows, remorse and arrogance - it had it all

I often read comments about how bad Si Wan's acting is …. especially in Misaeng. for me, this drama is just perfect. I didn't skip a second and enjoyed every second. the chemistry, the subtle humor and the characters were so warm and so real. I was mesmerized even though it's an office drama!!!! and that was matched by the warmth in Si Wan's acting. his style is just unique – subtle, vulnerable, BUT he can really play anything and his character can form a strong pillar in every drama. although I understand why some don't like him or his style, I enjoy watching him immensely. and he always makes the other actors shine - that's rare ....

I just finished the drama and thought the same thing!!!!
