As A-Jin approaches In-gang, there are hints that his past is dark. He actually sees through her right from the start, but later falls into her trap because he needs love. I mean, how could he see right through her? Only if he's already experienced that or is like that himself.
BUT what I'm missing is this dark side of In-gang. When they're together, we only see rose-colored glasses, but where is his honest, dark side? I totally missed that. Perhaps their relationship really was a self-created illusion that he voluntarily entered into ...
In Youp was phenomenal in this role again—I hope he gets many more roles (just, no more endings like that, please 🥹).
final thoughtsThe drama started out cute, then at episode 7 (the worst one) it became apparent how all over the…
I had the same feeling: ML doesn´t have any chemistry with FL, but in the other way it was understandable. FL also seemed too cold toward ML sometimes? I didn´t see passion or love in their expressions - but warmth with the MLs son honestly, the romance was not even necessary here. the bond to MLs son was enough to come back and sadly they didn´t show their reunion, just FL with ML 🥲 I cried a little on the last episodes because FL got emotional and it was just sad that the evil sister killed everyone—that was pretty tough and depressing in the end. she was left alone because she eliminated everyone And surprisingly, I liked the theme of being able to return to a safe haven. a 7/10 for me
this is just soooo good! I could hardly sit still during the last two episodes 😅 Ro Woon was really amazing - I hope we will see more from him after military, he is so talented Shin Ye Eun was ok, but could not keep up to the male actors this was not a typical kdrama with clichés - it had unique scenes and roles highly recommended!
Junho has a special kind of acting style. The way he interacts with others looks so natural—I don't think many actors can do that... And Minha is just perfect. Kudos to the casting idea! Pure chemistry! And very very good acting!!!!
I have a theory, hear me out: I experienced all kinds of emotions while watching this series—from disgust (at the violent scenes) and sadness to good humor and absolute annoyance—it had everything. Maybe the creator wanted us to go through exactly that because Ga Yeong couldn't feel any of it? Boom.
I don´t understand the last scene. maybe someone has a theory? Jae I is sitting on the top of her house (she is probably the master of the house,... because no one else lives). and we can clearly hear a sound or a noise and than she smiles. and than the snow-scene. is she dead in the end too? I mean, did she fall from the house - on purpose? 🤔
I like the diversity of Hwang In Youp and like almost everything he does ... except for this drama. i had several tries and stopped after 11 episodes now. i especially find his role somehow inappropriate. the FL seems like a child in contrast to the ML's role. it bothered me a lot. i find it awkward. maybe he should play more mature roles. he definitely has it in him with his looks and voice. about the story: at some point it was quite annoying that they didn't talk to each other or constantly misunderstood each other. that's drama, I know - but here it was just too obvious and sometimes just unnecessary in the story. I tried several times for Hwang In Youp's sake, but it doesn't work ... 😐

Boom.
I usually watch K-dramas and am not used to the rhythm and storyline of Japanese works. But this drama was truly exceptional.
However, as some others here have already written, the breakup scene completely threw me out of the story.
I would have liked to see them living together and actually being together.
I especially loved how Raul sometimes acted like a child to hide his true feelings. His facial expressions were extremely good. Also his awkwardness.
And in contrast, FL, who showed a great mix of insecurity and self-confidence. A strong woman with strong feelings. Just great.
this was just PERFECT!!!!!! please give us more actor Yoon Doo Joon 😇
