this season ends where the webtoon ends, and its completed. unless the producer is planning on an original story as the continuation, i dont think there will be a s3

not sure about the award winning part, but i'd recommend moving, D.P., extracurricular, king of pigs. these are some really good dramas with great plot and acting

one thing for sure is he doesn’t have any related childhood with baku. and also its implied in the webtoon, that if his circumstances were different he might even be sieun’s friend (they both are smart, like to attend/solve math quizzes)

i cant fully recall, but his childhood was tragic/traumatic to a point where he became homeless. i think he started the union mainly for the business part of it, and the way the union was established is much more fleshed out in the webtoon where baekjin have control over even companies. so answering your question his main drive is the business- which given his circumstances is a dirty one.

they somewhat completely changed baekjin’s childhood story. and the union is not similar as whats shown in the webtoon and somehow makes it seem weaker comparatively.

i kinda look at this season as a separate thing, so i still enjoyed it, but its badly adapted if we compare it to the webtoon

but i love how they bring the friendship to life, the characters are wholesome and loyal and caring and goofy, just how i love them in the webtoon, the fights are great too!! (but again, sieun could fight better, im relieved that thats shown in the final fight)

things im quite upset about:
they nerfed sieun and baekjin characters quite significantly, along with the union - sieun would NEVER fight a losing fight hes very clever about it - and its important to me to show how he builds his strength/reputation in the school like thats THE shit in the webtoon - baekjin would NEVER work under someone and the union is so much bigger and stronger than shown in the season and baekjin has the craziest aura but i feel like the actor did a great job still!!

i love love love this season i think its even better than s1

but as a webtoon reader i hoped better for the adaptation, so im taking this separately from it bcs as i said the season is still great

the tattoos are important to me 🥲😭 but luckily the casting for Donald is perfect, though they nerfed his character in the series
