My blood May have boiled a few times during the show, and the temptation to throw a shoe at the screen was strong.. Likewise was my hand itching to strangle that brother of Xiao Fan's and slap the father silly, this drama introduced me to a pairing whose chemistry off screen is more fun to watch even while they're doing nothing. Hopefully their next project together will be better.

I agree...this is on if those few shows that a sad ending makes more sense .....while some shoes that hav sad endings don't deserve it....

yeah, good sexual tension on-screen is supposed to make you hot and heavy, but this....made me question my life choices.

And the final straw for me was when he started putting ice on Bian Ye's leg. I just lost it and started howling that my daughter thought I was crazy. Especially with the porn-y music that they use in these scenes just sent me.

But for me it's still among the top 20 vertical dramas that I've watched out of almost a hundred.

I guess I don't mind those things as much. For me, I love pining, slow burn dramas, so this one met my expectations.

Hahahha. No, it was not that dramatic. As far as I remember, the confession was very quick. Or at least I feel it that way because of the long, long time they were pining for each other.

Actually, they discovered that the person they like actually likes them back is because of clues from other people.

If you are not a fan of misunderstandings, unfortunately this show has a lot of them.

Ah I see where you are coming from. You also want to include separation even before they are actually together. So separation during their fake marriage. Then yes, a few times she lives in another house. Or he lives in another house.

They did not do it more than once. Because they were never together in the beginning. The guy doesn't know the girl is in love with him and vice versa. They did not realize they have feelings for each other until the very end. It's because the stepmother did things to separate them time and time again. And so they just assumed that the person they love actually are in love with other people.

They got together closer to the end of the drama , just a few days before the brother woke up from the coma. Then after they got together, they were separated by the ML's stepmother.

I struggled through this drama. I did find it boring. I'm all for slow burn but this is more like stagnant. I need plot progression and this just feels a lot of meandering to me. I wanted to drop it by episode 2 but the rave reviews and rating convinced me to continue but I seriously couldn't get into it and fell asleep most of the time that I finally threw in the towel. Don't get me wrong I loved Lizzy's other work Litchi Island. But I just have to admit this ain't it for me.

Yes, in the novel her romantic obsession with Lu Qing is more dark and explicit.

No, she really is in love with Lu Qing because she also wished they don't have the same mother. And if she was only jealous that her brother had a fiance, she wouldn't be that self-destructive.
