So Much More Than a Rom-Com
I went into this thinking it was just going to be a cute, fluffy rom-com. To a degree, it was. But, it was so much more than that. Chen Zhe Yuan continues to show why he's one of my favourite actors. This had depth! It showed a re-occurring trauma. It showed how Nan Xing and Ni Na came together and created a family from tragedy. I wasn't a huge fan of how Xiao Jun treated Nan Xing in the flashbacks until the very end. But, I'm not a fan of treating people you like badly anyway. I DID like how things came together, though. It thought it was cute and showed how much the characters really thought about one another.I was so excited to see this and I'm sad to see it over.

Story Worth The Stress
It's my first written review on MDL! I grew up watching loads of British television, but have not seen the original work this is based on. I was stressed 95% of the time watching this show, but it was all worth it in the end. I hated so many characters, but that's what makes it fun. The acting was phenomenal, in my opinion. If an actor can make me hate the character yet still understand what's happening, that's a pass in my book. The ending made sense in my opinion. I do wish other things could have happened or we could have seen other aspects, but I think it was wrapped up nicely. Well worth the stress on my system. Now I can relax. I'm not sure I would rewatch unless I really wanted to feel utter hatred, but this was great. Well done to all involved.Was this review helpful to you?

Beautiful Story, Just a Bit Too Long
I really enjoyed this, but I do feel like it was just a bit too long. It was a lot of characters and side quests, but it could have been shaved down to not be as confusing at times. I know I got confused a bit just because I didn't know why certain cuts happened. I do recommend this, though. It was a great story at the core.Was this review helpful to you?
Rocky Start, Grew On Me Later
I won't lie. I almost dropped this one, but something told me to keep trying and by the time episode 3 ended, I was hooked. This was really well done. The only thing that kept pulling me out of the story was when the dubbing was off. I know China dubs practically everything and I don't fault them for that. It was just very obvious in places and I had to get myself back into things afterwards. And the constant playing of the OST. It's a good song! I just felt it was played a bit TOO much. So Many Stars
I thoroughly enjoyed it. You could feel how much fun the cast was having while filming, but it never took away from the story being told. I was still able to enjoy the show and immerse myself into what I was watching, but it never felt so heavy I had to take myself out of it. This should be talked about more. Why is it not? I highly recommend this if you're not sure about starting it. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed!Was this review helpful to you?
Quite Possibly One of the Most Important Shows to Watch
I went into this not expecting a lot. I am SO GLAD I was proven wrong. Don't let the opening scene scare you away. There IS a beautiful story to be told here. Many, in fact. And I know I, for one, needed a show like this when I was becoming a young adult and no other adults around me wanted to explain things to me. This is educational at its base and fun at its peak. I think everyone should give this a go. It lays so much out there and shows this is not supposed to be a taboo subject. It's normal, natural, and human. I loved this and have already recommended it to others.Plus, it had me squealing at the CUTENESS OMG. It really was SO cute throughout the show. Anyone know where I can find someone like Dr Kang? This was such a satisfying watch.

THE CUTEST LOVE STORY
As a family, we have only watched 2 Japanese dramas, this being the 2nd. When I tell you we were all GLUED to the screen, squealing, yelling, crying, and loving every minute of it. Usually we're on our phones while watching. With this though? We all wanted to see every little detail. This is the CUTEST drama we've ever seen. I was a bit worried because I had seen a few reviews saying to give it time to warm up to you, but we were all enthralled in less than 5 minutes. This is going on the rewatch rotation and I wouldn't be shocked to find my mom watching it on her own soon. This definitely deserves your attention. Life Lessons
I honestly went into this, like most other dramas I watch, almost blind. I added it to my list without much thought - and I'm so glad I did. When I saw this was up next on my list, I read the synopsis again and knew I was in for a ride. This one show taught me lessons I needed to hear right now in my life. They were harsh, but they needed to be said. I wish this was on other platforms so I could share it with my family. This was phenomenal. I enjoyed every bit of this - minus the last scare at the end. PLEASE take the time and watch this. You won't regret it. At least, I don't believe you will.9.5/10
