Hong Ning ended up becoming mortal after returning Jin Xiu his finger bone. Kun Lun & Jin Xiu spoke about her becoming immortal again but he’d rather become mortal finding her every lifetime. The ending scene showed them together :) There was a special that showed them in the mortal world, they ended up marrying each other and I BELIEVE towards the end they regained their memories because Jin Xiu said he was finally able to marry her haha

It seems like Hong Ning gave Jin Xiu his finger bone back and she “died”. I believe during the ending of ep 40, Kun Lun was talking about how Hong Ning is still able to be immortal but Jin Xiu said he’d rather be mortal and just find her every lifetime. I want to say the ending of them on the boat is after the special episode, it was said they got their memories back. I’m not sure though lol. And I’m not sure about Lu Yao yet

I’m pretty sure he becomes the demon king when he arrives at the kylin lair, you see him get the purple power there in the trailer. And for some reason, I think Kun Lun and Lu Yao fight with Bai Cha because you see them in full armor UNLESS Jin Xiu/Hong Ning were there and we just didn’t see anything about them

She isn’t Jin Xiu’s mother, his mother is either the emperor’s sister or his side 💀(i forgot but i BELIEVE it was his sister) i think she hated him because 1 he isn’t hers and was just given to her and the fact that the emperor favored him over her own son kun lun
