i don't know how i'm supposed to feel after finishing this drama. i'm just... blank.

it was so good at first that i had super high expectation for it. Son Ye Jin acting was incredible and Jung Hae In was so damn cute. their chemistry was awesome. it was so good it kinda felt like a guilty pleasure watching it. the way they shoot this drama is something i have never seen in korean dramas. beautiful, slow paced and somewhat retro scenes which focus on the characters' feeling made me hold my breath many times.

but the plot kept getting pointless and disappointing. the last 5 episodes were really gloomy. i truly hoped things could be different, beating the stereotype in most dramas and making me believe in love again lol. but unfortunately it got into some cliché trope. the characters couldn't really figure anything out episode after episode and that makes watching them such a pain. oh and the sudden ending. it's like the writer tried to settle everything down in some last minutes and tried to convince the audience that everything was fine. but hey i'm not fine. it's just so unsatisfying.

This drama is a gem. I'm so glad i found it after dropping so many crappy dramas.

The only thing i don't like about it is the second male lead and some unnecesssary scenes of him. That kind of man who is clingy and makes the girl feel uncomfortable really gets on my nerves. That's why i gave this a 9.5.

Except from that, i'm totally totally in love with this drama. The characters were really well written. Chun Jung Myung and Choi Kang Hee portrayed their characters so beautifully. Their chemistry was awesome and they just made me gradually fall for them.

The amount of laughter and drama was just right. I love the way the drama tackles adult and realistic relationship, family matters/chaos and mental illness. I love how they didn't force the characters to forgive everyone at the end. (If I was in Hong Do's shoes I wouldn't be able to forgive what that family did to her either.) Because isn't life like that? People are selfish and say sorry without meaning it, and even if they do that one word simply can't heal our wound. Forgiveness can't be taken for granted.

I am absolutely convinced of the way the leads fall for each other upon being aware of each other's imperfections. Love has never been so sweet. "Our bodies get along so well", this was said way before they realized they were in love. Physical love is tackled without shame and, maturely. They simply expressed how they felt and step by step figured it out and it's beautiful as hell. They decided on what to do with the priority of what mattered the most to them, which was love and their happiness, not what happened in the past nor other people's faults that still leave scars in them. "I either see you or die. And since I can't die I'll just see you." Yea, i'm not crying, you are.

This is not a half-ass romantic drama. This is a real romantic and heart-warming one. Thank you to the writer and the cast for making me find love so beautiful.
