MOD as Africanbarbhie said was actually promoted to international fans and it was released on different platforms…
it's hard supporting tv thunder because I feel they have so much talented actors and shows and they don't give them the push they need.. if triage was released on iqiyi like kinnporsche or even viki it would be so bigger.. sometimes when u tink a show is a gem and only a niche audience can enjoy it.. u feel a bit defeated cause shows like these deserve to get a bigger audience. and aisplay and tv thunder won't do that for them.
Mod was targeted to interfans, you can watch it on wetv or VikiThis wasn't. It was marketed only for Thailand…
MOD isn't on VIKI. TV Thunder has never placed their shows on viki or gaga or iqiyi.. they are notoriously known for that. None of TV Thunder shows are technically targeted for interfans.. they're audience is for thailand.
How did Manner of Death reach 27,000 viewers and this looks like it will only reach 7,000 by the time the finale ends ? do BL shows usually get a spike after it ends ? I would think most ppl wait till a show ends to watch it.. but I don't see that bringing that much more of a spike.. I wasn't around when MOD aired so did TV Thunder do a better job of promoting that show ? Most shows don't really gain viewers months later so at this point I'm not sure this show will past 10k and be a commercial success but I think it definitely is a critical one and should if people are smart awarded a lot over the year.
Based on acting alone, I personally find Triage far superior. MoD wasn't bad (I think it was the first ever non-university…
I feel like there are far too many plots to wrap up perfectly with one episode and I feel like the show didn't get much time to breathe... guess it was meant to leave u on your edge of your seat completely.. I just feel like a lot of things I wanted to see fleshed out more that I probably won't see with one episode left.. I wanted to see more of Rit and Sing... more of Tin and Tol being loving... plus they have to wrap up the organs storyline... so I'm intrigued to see how they do it all properly in one episode.
Was it good yes.. was is better than Manner of Death ? to be honest no it falls just short but I'm tethering between giving this a 8 or a 9 based on how the finale wraps up the story. I would say my major issue was not enough BL content.. felt like that only catered for 10 percent of the story
I always rate a show between 6 and 10 because I think they deserve 5 points alone for just making the show and any additional points is for how much I liked the show ... so I'll give this a solid 5 :)
Until We Meet Again and Fluke's bedroom scene was the first BL that ever made me tear up... It's gonna be so hard for them to replicate that magic again.. fingers crossed !!
What about some people who say this racist jokes on a daily basis and act saint on a comment section like they…
well you should only be speaking for yourself cause you said above some ppl say racist jokes and act as a saint on comment section.. so you can't speak for others so I should assume you're speaking on personal experience. good to know
What about some people who say this racist jokes on a daily basis and act saint on a comment section like they…
not everyone is racist and homophobic and some people normalizing it as so is the problem so as u said thank god you're not famous :) cause you too would be exposed for who you truly are.
Fantastic finale .. I was really amazed how well they fit this into 5 episodes and it didn't feel rushed at all. 9/10 for me... definitely in my top 5 BL's of the year. and just behind My Beautiful Man when it comes to my favorite Japanese BL's.
I remember he said two things. One was 8 years ago and one was last year. Is it right?
well based on his own apology an hour ago. he clearly said more than 2 things.. he mentioned racism... abuse.. victim shaming... and much more.. so clearly he apologized for a lot more than we initially knew out of fear that other things would also get exposed cause I didn't even know about the racism stuff till he mentioned it in his apology.
I do accept Build's apology but I don't agree with people who think just because it was 8 years ago it doesn't matter.. a lot of people are babying him.. he's 28.. and this happened when he was a man at 20 years old.. racism and rape shaming isn't something light and just because he apologized doesn't mean we should just move on.. I'm glad he is stepping back and working on himself as I believe actions are better than words.
watching episode 1 now and it felt odd seeing a BL character say ''I'm gay'' it's like if I never heard it b4... especially not a in a Japanese BL.. has anyone ever said those words before in a BL so boldly. I really liked that.
had all the rights to tv thunder shows
the story
