Fantastic finale .. I was really amazed how well they fit this into 5 episodes and it didn't feel rushed at all. 9/10 for me... definitely in my top 5 BL's of the year. and just behind My Beautiful Man when it comes to my favorite Japanese BL's.

well based on his own apology an hour ago. he clearly said more than 2 things.. he mentioned racism... abuse.. victim shaming... and much more.. so clearly he apologized for a lot more than we initially knew out of fear that other things would also get exposed cause I didn't even know about the racism stuff till he mentioned it in his apology.

I do accept Build's apology but I don't agree with people who think just because it was 8 years ago it doesn't matter.. a lot of people are babying him.. he's 28.. and this happened when he was a man at 20 years old.. racism and rape shaming isn't something light and just because he apologized doesn't mean we should just move on.. I'm glad he is stepping back and working on himself as I believe actions are better than words.

watching episode 1 now and it felt odd seeing a BL character say ''I'm gay'' it's like if I never heard it b4... especially not a in a Japanese BL.. has anyone ever said those words before in a BL so boldly. I really liked that.

This show literally had the biggest collapse in BL history.. the first half of the season was exceptional... and DOMEVEE had the international fans on a chokehold.. what went wrong ? the time jump started it all smh

This season has really divided fans.. I'm seeing some ppl giving it a 10.. and then some a 5/6.. there is no in between ppl either think its a classic or they hated it.

In the past year, Korea and Japan have been really stepping up to the plate and competing with Thailand.. my favorite BL's from the past year are all from Korea or Japan.

the editing was so bad... it reminded me of physical therapy.. they were jumping from location to location in every scene as if the drive wasn't mean to be hours apart and they be going like it's a 5 minute trip lol

Highest Rated BL series of 2022. TV Thunder may not be able to get the commercial success but they are building themselves as a company known for delivering quality BL's. follow this up with Transplant and the streak will continue.

I'm seeing people saying they loved it cause it felt real and they could connect with it.. I'm sorry... who in the real world disappears for a year cause they are lonely... don't post on social media.. ignores your messages.. the person you were with disappears.. and you don't think to check in their hometown for them.. if this isn't BL cliche at its finest I don't know what it is.

I think To MY STAR was such a masterpiece that the fans don't want the legacy to be ruined by calling season 2 just average when it was. The show felt so different in tone to season 1. The angst and the ignoring of someone you loved for a year because you were lonely felt so odd and the conflict resolution didn't feel genuine.. it felt like it was all a plot hole to create conflict.

the scene on the step in the last episode where he acted like a child made me uncomfortable... not emotional.

to be honest I was very disappointed and I feel like I have to go watch this over now cause I'm seeing people calling season 2 a masterpiece and better than season 1... so now I'm feeling like I watched a different show. lol

Is the editing of the episodes a bit choppy for anyone else ? it's just jumping from place to place... giving me Physical therapy vibes.

Some things you just don't need to touch... To My Star was a 10/10 for me but unfortunately I can't give season 2 anymore than a 7/10. The conflict and resolution felt so cliched and pointless.. I still don't get what was his reason for leaving ? that he was unhappy and lonely so he just ghosted for a year ? It makes no sense to me.

This is so confusing to me.. it feels like they just used the missing for a year as a plot for effect but the reason he went missing didn't even make sense and it feels like it was a just a device to create unnecessary conflict.

Why did KimChay get the least screentime and they are slowly becoming my favorite couple on the show ?
